Over a decade ago Rocky Point Park went bankrupt in 1995 and has been left decaying . With a little over 80 acres remaining after the city of Warwick bought 41 acres. I myself a resident of Rhode Island and someone who enjoyed going to the park from childhood and as a teenage as many people did. This historical site should not be made for condo's and should be brought back to its former glory.

We should bring back the great rides it once had, the great food and let the public once again enjoy the views of the bay and now adults with children who have never been able to enjoy this piece of Rhode Island History.

Those who would love to see this place not rot and become useless housing, sign this petition and let Rocky Point Park live on and be rebuilt the way it should be to this day.

We will be signing this to be able to get funding for the property from grants and state and federal funding as well as be able to purchase rides , games, food stands and buildings to build the park back up.
