I support this petition. I have never been so deeply touched and affected by a TV show like this. It has truly given me the ability to sit down, ask questions, and start forming some answers. Not to mention, so many other people seem to be affected in this same way! Please! Save Spashley!
I support this petition.i love SoN.it helped me to find out who i was and how to deal with it.i kno this show has also impacted many people all over the world and if we cancel it people wont understand us.this show is to help the people who need it and to inform people that its around and always will be.SAVE SPASHLEY!!!
I support this petition. South of nowhere is an amazing show with so much more to offer. It's helped so many people, including myself. This show allowed me to see and accept myself and love for what it is. It's just a beautiful thing and it doesnt matter who its with. Please, dont let this show end.
Hi! I'm from Mexico and I trully support this campaign. This show didn't just help me to understand many things i went through as a teenager but also many of the parent concerns that we as teeneagers are not able to understand when we are living the situation but its easier when you see it in someone else. About Spashley, i'd love to continue to watch their growing as human beings, accepting errors, and just giving us the people we watch the oportunity to find us less lonely in this world, because to find out that a girls-couple, boys-couple, boy-girl, black-white, wahtever couple can deal with certain problems in a more global way (friends, themselves, family, etc) has helped me grow in many ways. As for the show ending, i'd love you to give it another oportunity for the characters to keep growing and keep shwoing people around the world a way of respect, different love, and mostly human kindness... which is what moves this world around.. thanxs and again greetings from Mexico. =)
I support this petition. and south has help me comeout to my friends and family and it can help other people to so it needs to stay on the air! when i told my mom i was gay she was really shocked but when we sat down and watch the show together it helped her get it more and it will help alot of kids get it to. so many kids get made fun of but this show can help stop it a lil bit. it needs to run the 5 seasons Tom wrote for it!
I support this petition. S.O.N. provides viewers a way to feel comfortable with who they are and not be ashamed. I've worked with teens for the past 14 years and many of them struggle with sexual and identity issues. I believe if S.O.N. continues it will be the saving grace for those who are currently struggling with their issues and will provide a path that will guide youth in the right direction away from suicide, drugs, and isolation. SON provides power and pride to all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youths across the world. And, it will show those who do not accept GLBT youths, how to be more compassionate, understanding, and supportive.
por favor no cancelen la serie , es muy buena ya que ayuda que en paises latinoamericano vean con mayor clarides a los adolecesntes cone ste tipo de inclinaciones...
This is my favorite show ever, I can relate to it and its been a part of my life for so long. in my opinion it is the best show on tv. Please don't cancel it. Plus me and my girlfriend watch it together :D
people have a right to see how the world really is and that means showing that there is not only straight but gay people out there to south of nowhere help become who i am to i was afraid and knew everyone hated me for being gay but south of nowhere taught me that i should should be myself no matter how others sees it and that if i love someone that is the same sex then ima let it happen because it makes me happy
I support this petition.I just began watching SON on Oct. 17, 2008. I found out about it from all of the videos created in adoration of the couple, Spashley. In the past 3 days I have watched ever single episode ever created. I love this show more than I can say. I am a 38 yr. old lesbian in n.c. I'm so sorry to learn that this is the last season of SON. I am obviously so totally addicted to this show. The writing, acting, & directing are all so phenomenal. I could go on & on with the benefits I've gotten from watching this show. What can be done to continue this wonderful program? Can LOGO pick it up? It really should have been marketed to an older audience--or maybe a wider audience. Bars could have held "Save Spashley" parties, airing the show. But now, unfortunately, I feel like it's too late. The N has made up its mind. What's the possibility of airing on the net only? I would gladly pay to watch this show for a fifth season, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. It's truly a shame to see such a compelling and captivating program come to an end. If they could get one more season, it could at least be picked up for syndication. Is it to late to "Save Spashley"?
