Built in 1896, St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lorain, Ohio, is the oldest standing Catholic Church building in the city. Since 1995, our church has operated a homeless shelter and kitchen. St. Joseph's is in danger of being closed by the Bishop of the Cleveland Diocese by June of 2010. We need your help to keep our church & shelter open! Please sign our petition - after doing so, you should also write a letter to Bishop Richard Lennon. Letters of appeal must be received by March 27th.
