Maybe NBC would save the show if they stranded them on an island, & voted them off after immunity challenges. That was sarcastic. They only quality show has just been taken off. NBC must have some idiots running programming. I could see if they were totally lagging in ratings, but they were holding their own. I really wish another network, like FOX would pick it up. I will not be watching any more NBC shows in protest.
This is an important show. The ability to show people how government can and does work greatly improves the possibility that more citizens will take part in the process and raise the important issues that change our lives.
This is the only "thinking person's" show on TV. My entire household (5 of us) sit together and watch it each week. How can you think of canceling it? Please, Please. PLEASE keep it going!!!
Just as we turn a really great corner with Santos and the fun we could have with the SOS Vinick showing what "real" partisan politics should be like, the show is canceled. Please bring back The West Wing!
This haas been one of the most enlightened shows on evfenong television and to remove it now will be putting television back into the dark ages. You are leaving the program as a cliff hanger and many committed viewers with a disappointed and unhappy commitment to your TV channel if you end this shhow, which may drop ratings in other shows due to withdrawal of sponsorship and allegiance. Good luck as this show will be sorely missed by all, even many of your own crew, I am sure.

This show is not only important to our collective entertainment needs, it has provided me with important and illuminating strains of thought that would have otherwise not have been piqued.
The West Wing is still one of the best shows on TV, the only good show on NBC, and, with a new administration coming in, ready for updating and shakeups.
i am not the only one beggingf or the west wing to remain on, another station should pick it up if nbc is stoo stupid to let it go. juts becasue the viewers don't have a neilson box doesn't mean we aren't watching. the set up is prime to continue with the cast. keep it on.
This show is getting better and better! It went off track for a little while, but this season, the magic is back. Please don't cancel!

Without doubt, one of the finest shows to ever be seen on network television. A new cast can continue the legacy of the last 7 years and offer new and exciting perspectives on politics and the human condition.
This is the best show on tv since Mash! It's great story about life, politics, relationships and what it mean and feels like to be an american. NBC has to keep this show going. The Santos administation's story must be told!
As we reach the end of this series, the writing becomes better and better...

I support this petition. Another season with an intelligent airing of issues of national importance is valuable, regardless of your political persuasion. We'll miss Sheen as Pres. Barlett, writing was sensitively handled around John Spencer's infortunate death, and a new face in the Oval Office...one with integrity would be entertaining indeed!
NBC programming is always more real and more dramatic than the fluff on other networks. I support this petition because keeping The West Wing would continue a long standing NBC tradition of excellence in broadcasting.
