I am so very sick and tired to seeing REALITY shows that do not give viewers any intellectual, thought provoking material. This kind of material is being written and acted out weekly on the West Wing. My question is...and why would you not renew????? There is a large group of viewers who need to have this type of caliber drama on TV. Please renew!
Your decision to cancel the West Wing was made after a season of bad writing. Things have turned around now, and your show is once again great. Give it another shot with good promotions and a decent time slot.

A couple of years ago I might have agreed that the show was drifting a little and maybe it was time to bring down the curtain. The latest season has completely changed my mind- it's been as good as it ever was. Sharp scripts, wonderful performances and real tension. Please, please, please let's see at least some of te Santos Presidency!
The only show I actually stop and watch. While it had it's low spots it has generally been one of the best shows on television. This year with Santos was a rebirth. Don't kill it now!
West Wing has been, this year, the good stuff we remember. They are opening plot lines that need us next year. The cast is strong, the plot line fabulous and for goodness sake, we need a fantasy govt. night to believe all is right with the US. KEEP IT ON!

With an excellent cast and outstanding writing, the West Wing deserves to be continued. These fictional characters remind us of the leaders we so need and want in our government. For an hour each week I have been able to forget the nightmare that passes as political discourse in this country.

This show has been reborn. This year has been close to the early quality of the show. The election material and the characters involved have been a high point in a highpoint in a television wasteland.
Had NBC not first alienated Sorkin, then driven the final coffin nail by moving The West Wing from Wednesdays, we wouldn't (and shouldn't) be having this conversation. No other show (including ABC's 'Commander in Chief') can rival its intelligence, especially in the political drama genre. KEEP THIS SHOW!
I support this petition. This is still the best show on television and truly back to what it once was. Just a crazy time to end it. How damn long has ER been on now? I want a year with Josh as cheif of staff. I want to see the transistion into the White House. I want Ainsley and Sam back. I want my West Wing! By the way... I'm a successful business owner and right in the age and income demographic NBC wants (or moreover their advertisers want) so is my wife. This is the ONLY show on television we never, ever miss.
I can not understand the logic of cancelling the show. NBC should have either left on Wednesday night or moved it to a better time slot, not Sunday night. The show is having one of its best seasons, the nuclear reaction episode I think was one of its 5 best. I find it very sad that they would choose to end such a great show that has a chance to be almost like a new show starting with a new presidency
I support this petition. I have watched every episode of West Wing on NBC and I tivo the re-runs on Bravo to enjoy them again and again. The show still has all the ingredients to be as great as ever, especially with the new president taking office. Just because the show is not in the top-10 most watched shows each week is no reason to cancel it. not very show on every network can be top-10; there are 24-hours in a day and 4 major netyworks plus several hundred other chanels, all fighting for the same viewers. Why cancel one of the most well known shows in television history when you can keep it going and earn steady advertising income from its built-in audience?

I support this petition. My wife and I were dedicated viewers of the show; however, the switch to Sunday just did not fit in right away with us. I'd like to see the show picked up by some network or by cable.
