The West Wing is one of the most intelligent and intellectual shows on TV today. I always feel my mind is challenged when I watch WW and it seems to spark debates among my peers which are beneficial and enjoyable. It truly is one of the great shows of our time.
There are a few intelligent people out there who get this show. Evidently, NBC doesn't. Get rid of the stupid, insipid, brainless "reality" shows. What the heck is real? Our outrage at the premature dimise of TWW is REAL! Take note. This is the only show we watch or tape every single week. My husband always watches the reruns on Bravo in the mornings before he goes to work. Hopefully, a more with it station will pick up the show and also hopefully, the actors want to continue and haven't committed to other shows by now.

because in a world of sensationalist psuedo reality fluff that targets the lowest common denominator, this show elivates all of us. The cast and fans are being penalized for bad scheduling. Please don't take one of the last shows worth my time off the air.
There are so few intelligent shows left on tv, I love the West Wing, slow is better than no show. It is just starting to pick up again. I hate all these reality shows and game shows and lame-ass dramas; please keep something on the network for thinking viewers!

Save this SHOW!!! For more than just one season please. It's one of the few shows I have looked forward to in years. It had some slow time I admit, but the writers have picked it up and its building a new audience I've noticed. You've got new people interested and us old fans don't want to see it go.

The West Wing is a fantastic show that makes democracy worth fighting for. ABC's CiC is worthless relative to the fantasic values and ideas portrayed in the former. I am a 20 year old Canadian and positivly love the show. Please reconsider the decision.
I support this petition. I have watched WW since the pilot show -- and stayed faithful to it...and now when there is new blood and fantastic new characters to discover the show is cancelled....not from lack of ratings but from lack of imagination and inspiration, well find it and keep it going.

I support this petition. My family watch this show every week, every season,recording it when we're not in. We are in the UK and are very very disappointed to hear that this is the last season. PLEASE do another season to show the new president in situ, then review. This show is LOADS better than ANY reality tv show.

I support this petition. I am an ultra conservative REPUBLICAN and I watch primetime on NBC, and reruns on BRAVO or wherever else it's on. This the BEST show that's ever been on TV in my 58 years on the Earth. Offer Smits whatever it takes and keep America's show on TV.
This is the only show on NBC I watch besides Las Vegas. If they can have 2 or 3 spin off's of Law & Order or keep ER on forever then they can keep this show on with the new president which will create a whole new story line.

I still enjoy the West Wing, its still better than the Geena Davis show, WW although i rarely agree with Democrats, is still a neat, inspiring show, somewhat educational like a weekly govt, civics lesson, i always liked the Bartlett Admin, funny, and interesting, inspiring like i said before. Would be nice to see it live on into other administrations either Dem or Repub, gives it realism, would be nice to see it live on like shows like Law & Order where some of the cast, cops, DAs changes periodically or like ER. I remember being somewhat excited when the pilot aired in 1999, seems like yesterday. I dont know i could ramble on. But i feel like cutting the show could be a mistake. Just my 2 centss worth.
If this show is cancelled I will program my cable remote to lock out NBC and MSNBC and all other NBC related networks. I will never watch NBC again!!!!!!
We emphatically support this petition. The West Wing is a wonderfully written, smart television program. The BEST program on any tv network. Please find a way to continue this excellent series, and rescue those of us who find the rest of your tv programming dismal to say the least.
This is one of the few shows I still watch on television!! I love dramas and can't stand the new game show / reality TV trend. Keep good dramas on, especially dramas that can subtilely educate Americans on how they can participate in the political process instead of complaining from the sidelines!
