I've been watching TSS since around the first few weeks...And now Attack of the Crap! is on and all they ever do is talk about media like MTV and E! I never see any tech except for Will o Neal talking about a few laptops and cell phones!!! I want KR back..I want Yoshi and Alex back...Take KP and make him a sub host! Keep sarah since shes been with TSS since the Leo and Pat days!!!
AOTS only has girl of myspace which is a rip off of Unscrewed's segment! and it has stupid car crap!! If I wanted to watch Spiketv or Speed I would but TSS is 1000000% better than AOTS!
Looks Like Kevin Rose saw the same point as we do. Good Luck Kevin , hope to see you on another show with more content and tech knowlage and advice.... we hope 4-6-05

G4 can graft on their name but they are not TTV. I looked forward to getting home from work and bringing up Screensavers on the DVR. Also liked Nerd Nation, the digital animation program, Big Thinkers. All replaced by big games for small minds.
Ditto-I absolutely loved the old tech tv and screen savers. Now the entire line up is totally junk. Leo and Patrick were great and I always learned great things from the show. I am dropping it.
Leo and Patrick were simply the best. G4 did not understand the audience that they had, and was not intelligent enough to even figure it out. The new TSS is uninteresting, and I will no longer tune in.
The G in G4 stands for Garbage. They took a great show and dumbed it down so much it's not worth watching. I'm not much for conspiracy theories but I really think the networks don't want people to be educated. They're scared we the people will find out what they are up to.
Down hill all the way! Kevin Rose teaching kids how to damage or mess with Coca-Cola boxes is bordering on contributing to delinquency of juveniles. Used to watch the program every night with the kids when Pat and Leo were on board, no I don't allow the kids to even watch it much less me!
What the heck are you thinking? You know there are more than just KIDS that liked (yes liked, meaning I dont anymore) to wath the screensavers. Leo and Patrick where great hosts. I hope a new network picks them up and stomps the "new" screensavers out of existance. Ever since the "g4" addition, Tech TV has SUCKED.
TSS used to be the keystone program for TechTv. I loved the in-depth technical reporting and the personalities of the old cast just felt right. The new Screen Savers is truly pathetic. The only interesting segment is Kevin Rose, and even that seems watered down. I'm not a mean person, but the new host "Kevin" needs to go. He ls like an annoying, hyper-active child. His persistent attempts at humor rarely succeed and make me want to smack him. This new show will not be on the air for very long and I don't think the old cast and format will ever return. Goodbye G4TechTv!

I became a fan of TechTV's "The Screensavers" right before Comcasts' G4 merged with the (bankrupt) channel of techTV. This fact in itself is tragic for infinite reasons--I will not go over these reasons because the rest of the posts do so adequately. Now back to my point, The Screensavers are dead.
Tragically, the show SUCKS A LOT now. I didn’t want to say it, but it’s unfortunately true. Often times I find myself watching entire (crappy) episodes hoping Patrick Nortan will come back. (don't get me wrong: Kevin Rose, Sarah Lane, and that asian girl are all great, but patrick nortan was such a dominator) The other Kevin (not rose) is a total fag and needs be removed all forms of media—crappy humor is the worst kind of poison he inflicts on the remains of the legacy that was “The Screensavers”
Ignoring the cast as the source of the problem, allow me to explain to you the crucial things today’s screensavers lacks from the old screensavers. It lacks good tech news, people calling in with problems, and discussions on cutting edge tech innovations. (while all of these remain to a certain degree, the don’t get as much time devoted to them as the once enjoyed) The time that would’ve been spent on these crucial elements are spent on interviewing and allowing crappy/shitty, no name bands perform!! WHO’s heard of riddlin’ kids? Huh? What the fuck is that?
I miss you Screensavers, you will always be remembered as you were, not as you are now.
If you look at there show list, there are some of the TecHTV olda' like Fresh Gear but most of things that used to be part of TechTv are so hard to find. Like Thunderbirds, you know they still have it but they never put it in any time slots,It's mostly the new The Screen Savers and Robot War. I just want the whole TechTV back, not just TTS
What the heck happened to everybody on TTS? The only two people who look vaguely familiar are Kevin and Sarah and they don't seem to be doing much I haven't watched in a while because I don't give a rat's ass about computer games. It seemed like the majority of the topics somehow end up with gaming. They need to get back to their roots: as it was with Patrick Norton and Leo Laporte. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they got Patrick and Leo back to work with Kevin and Sarah. There are (unfortunately) too many G4TechTV shows with gaming as a theme so that should be something to avoid on the Screensavers.
But what the heck. Maybe the new management at G4TechTV doesn't give a rat's ass about their viewers (or lack, thereof.)

I have been a big fan of the old TSS for as long as I can remember. It's very sad to see G4Tech destroy something that had so much talent. I refuse to watch any of the new shows! PS. Kevin Rose ROCKS!
As a loyal viewer since it was ZDTV, I am sorely disappointed with the "crap" that is comprises all the shows now on G4TechTV. I am sorry to say that I will not be watching any shows on this "Video Game" Network
Screen Savers is DEAD, I feel sorry for Kevin Rose,you can see he hates it to. But what is he going to do, he's got to eat, and it's a job. I realy miss the old show!
I want to say i'm 52, a geek and not a lowlife. I used to watch TSS religiously, it WAS the benchmark of television programs to help those of us who loved computers. It's turn into a sad, sophmoric shell of it's previous shining light. I don't know the business reason Paul Allen had for selling it and the network but now its with the most clueless people I can imagine. I know hardcore game players, people who spend thousands of dollars each year on the gaming industry and think G4 is sad and pittiful. Please, some rescue TSS, bring Leo and Pat, give us a forum, a voice again. I miss TSS... and by the way, I too have cancelled my TiVo season pass to TSS, what a waste of space
The screensavers is a pale imitation of its former self. G4 has turned the whole network and tss in particular into a video game joke. There is no good tech help aside from the occasional comment from Kevin. All the best are gone and the rest are just pathetic. Bring back Leo, Patrick, Yoshi, Dan, and save this train wreck of a show...GET LEO on 'CALL FOR HELP' FROM G4TECHTV CANADA IT'S GREAT!!! (What tss should be)
G4Tech TV stinks. The old network was AWESOME!!! I terribly miss The Screen Savers and Call for Help. The old staff of these shows were intelligent and very helpful. The entire network is a JOKE now!!!
They commited network suicide. I only watched G4, just so i can see TSS and Unscrewed. Unscrewed was great, till the laywers took over. DAMMIT now i have no reason to watch TV. I hope to see a new TSS one day, and a new Unscrewed rise from the dead!!!! fuck g4
the folks at G4 have no talent compared to the old crew on techtv! not a single good show on it now other than the still intact xplay. they even ruined tss even when the new crew was gaining something traction. once again it shows big corporations have no idea what the people want. g4 gives both gamers and techies a bad name.
I just saw the live feed from the TSS with the new cast (coming from G4) and they are the dullest people on the face of the earth. What is the point of keeping good shows on the air if you're going to ruin them by changing the cast every three months. Last year I watched TSS everyday, when Alex came along I didn't like him, but he eventually grew on me. Now everyone except for Kevin is gone, and I'm sure if they lose him, the whole show will go under. So I guess what I'm trying to say is G4 is run by 12-year old retarded trustfund babies who only want to f--k up the best shows and slam their d--ks in sliding glass doors
TSS was best with computer experienced hosts like Leo and Pat.... Was fun with Kevin Rose and Alex.... But I've watched these hosts elsewhere and they are not knowledgeable or interesting :(
