Medicaid won't fund the South Carolina Autistic Program, what is the purpose of this? To save a little bit of pocket change. Every human being should be able to have their happiness, handicapped or not. My little brother, age seven, is autistic. He has progressed so much since he joined this program three years ago. He talks in complete sentences now and he know random facts about various animals. The impact of this program on his life is unbelievable. It's just a little loss of money to keep this program running, but just think of the sheer pleasure you can bring to an autistic child and their family! Please reconsider this upsetting news, and pay the fund of the South Carolina Autistic Program.

It is the law to provide all citizens a fair education. This includes autstic persons. I don't know what we would have done had Florida not provided our son with the help he needs as we are not Rich from Yuppieland.

We support this petition as we live in a state NH where medicaid funds and pays for services that the developmentlly disabled need. our sons have benifited greatly from these services. To see that there is a state where the government won't fund such a program where it can help the disabled function is shocking. We are looking to make a big move and i can guarentee that SC will not be a state we will be looking at.

America IS a Nazi country. Don't you see what the problem is? Autism was unheard of until 15 years ago. Why? Because of the poison in the vaccines given out by state hospitals! I don't support this petition because we are spending so much money our government is in debt by billions of dollars and we're fighting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and soon Iran and Syria so why aren't we spending money on that? And what about the poor? Most autistics come from wealthy families in Yuppieland but poor people suffer the worst in this country and that money should be given to them. Fuck retards
