its fucking sick what they do, i think the people in Norway are fucking twats, they should be the ones that die not the seals, its sick and cruel and i am majorly against it.
it is insane and cruel. They compare this to shooting animals, and even that is cruel, but at least it is quick and less painful... Just look at what they use to do it.
This must STOP! A sport is when both parties are wanting to participate.....I seriously doubt that these seals are willing participates. This is MURDER and the people doing this should be charged as MURDERS!
Why would some-one hunt seals???? I once went hunting for buck, and I could not bring myself to killing it. And when some-one shot a rabbit, I cried my eyes out! It is barbaric and evil. If you're against dolphin-infested tuna, then stop this now by signing this petition!!!

How could someone do such a cruel thing.It's not a sport would you go up to someone and say i played an awesome sport in norway!! I got to kill helpless little seals and i have the corpse to prove it. who in this world would do that? they deserve to live they're like us humans. I support this petition because I think it is cruel and disgusting to take innocent lives. If it is illegal ( and morally wrong) to take human lives ,it should be the same about animals.

If animal killing to balance is neccessary, then it should be done mercifully, animal should die with dignity and not club or pierce and suffer this painfully in their last moment.
The idea that Seals eat too many fish is just propaganda. It is a ridiculous idea. Besides, fish are the seals main source of food. This is not true for human beings. This whole operation is driven by greed and money and although Norway thinks this will draw in tourists, it's disgusting, selfish, heartless traditions like these that will drive away tourists like myself.

I am ashamed of being Canadian. By the way, the seal hunt in Canada continues because Norway and Russia buy the pelts. Shame on these countries that target innocent animals for vanity and shame on all those shallow people that wear fur!
I support this petition. Anyone that condones the senseless slaughter of innocent baby seals should be ashamed of themselves. Canada and Norway should rethink their inhumane practices.
