We the people of the world and Canada call on the Government of Canada to ban the seal hunt in its country. The seal hunt is murder and is a stain on Canada's identity as a caring and compassionate society.

I do support the idea of ending SOME fot he practices used for the Seal hunt, the Hackapik if not used properly if very cruel indeed. But why is it when a Seal is killed everyone is up in bloody arms, yet the Germans can hunt wild boar all damn day, and aligators, deer, and just about any other animals are considered fair game? Why it's because they are not those cute cuddly creatures we all love! Seal hunting when done properly is no different then any other form of hunting, if you want to stop one you had better demand a stop to all!

Yes, because I love having a little bit of seal blood on my toast. You are all sick disgusting people. I have a question for all of you, right now. In 1929, year of the great depression in Newfoundland, Canada (If you dont know where this is than you are uninformed about the seal hunt, asshole)- where was this support when our families were starving? People were dying from hunger. People without shelter. People without clothes. Why did you not support us when our men had to risk their lives on this seal hunt? Many men, thrown over board, bruttally frozen to death, hypothermia, drowings, and im not talking in small numbers here people. Human blood shed on the ice. Where was the support? Maybe if we had your support then- we wouldnt of had to start the seal hunt just for basic needs. Maybe hundreds to thousands of my people would be alive. Maybe my grandfather would be alive right now- instead of his body lost to sea, as he died an almost brutal death. Please now what you are supporting here. A bunch of tree hugging fucks that care more about plants than they do about humans.

All who hunt or even BELIEVE that it is ok to hunt them, WILL answer, in life hopefull, but certainly in death. This is literally comparable to hunting dogs! The ONLY difference is, that dogs do not live in the wild. Other than that, you ignorant savages, you ARE hunting dogs! You WILL answer, but in the mean time, this needs to stop so the seals do not have to suffer and live in fear and hurt at the loss of their families and friends. YES, those ARE infact emtotions they do feel. If you think that is funny, you proved yourself to be a fool, I know what I'm talking about, try doing some research. It is discusting how ignorant, stupid, and plain evil the human race can be. I cannot believe this is allowed to go on ANYWHERE in the world. You people are evil.
