Paris Hilton is Self Indulgent and priveliged by being born into money. She should just have stayed out of real life, but as she has done, she deserved everything that has happened to her, as money does not override the laws of the govenment. Double the sentence purely for the fact she believes justice does not apply to her.
It's about time that the court system follows thru with the correct punishment of a crime for people who are rich or think of themselves as famous. If it was me or any other ordinary citizen our butts would be sitting in jail right now. I also think the judge should have filed a contempt order for her mother's actions while she was in the courtroom.
Any other person would get 45, what makes her special? Now she's asking Gov.Schwarz to pity her? Just because her grandfather gave him 22K for his election? something's gotta give and she needs to go to jail. PERIOD.

Paris is not only a horrible example to our students and fellow youth, but she is also has a foul mouth. Uttering racist and homophobic terms she is a horrible excuse for a human being and I am glad to see her in jail were she belongs.

While I feel the judge may be using Paris to make an example, I don't feel one bit sorry for her troubles. She is a snobby, arrogant, spoiled, brat who needs to be taught a lesson. Although this may only boost her popularity more, she will still be just a dumb as she sounds. And her parents should be punished too, after all, they raised her to be the selfish, ignorant brat which she is.

i agree! just because your famous doesn't mean you should get off lightly for a crime. there are a million people who see her as a role model, and if she works her way out of jail, whats that teaching people?personally, i think she should go to jail for 45 days. its not even two months, seriously. i'm SURE she will survive.
