Please do not allow this election to be certified without addressing the mounting evidence of fraud and appearances of corruption in several key states. As a citizen of Ohio, I am very concerned that our Secretary of State has been so very partisan in his handling of the 2004 presidential election. Not only were voting machines allocated in a way that favors the candidate that he supports, but he has blocked the recount in a state that, in effect, determined the outcome of the election.
I hope that you will act to protect democracy right here in America. Taking a stand at this critical point in our history is essential for the future of all Americans. And as we seek to spread democracy to the Middle East, it is essential that our efforts are not dismissed or undermined by those who suspect that fraud has determined the outcome of our own elections.

How can we promote free and fair elections in other countries if we don't have them here? It's time for reform which can only come by examing irregularities that occurred in the November 2004 election.
Those of us who worked so hard to get out the vote will never be able to do so again if we cannot guarantee that each vote is counted as each voter actually chose. Please protect our democracy; it appears to be at great risk under the current Administration.
I've voted faithfully my whole life, but this election was the first that I felt motivated to become an activist. The election was a sham -- long lines, malfunctioning machines, media who refuse to release data. We need your help to take back democracy -- if we do nothing, the United States may suffer the fate of Iran or Nazi Germany. Don't let that happen! Stop worrying about "upsetting the apple cart" and remember that this life will soon be over. Someday, we will all have to answer to our Creator and explain why we didn't do everything we could have done in defense of human rights. The power of W. pales by comparison.
You were elected by the people to PROTECT our democracy! To certify this election, particularly in light of the countless allegations of
fraud, would make a mockery of our political and judicial system.
The whole world is watching us. Even school children are wondering how U.S. politics can be so corrupt.

You have no idea how important this is to me. Without the trust and security of a fair and equitable election, nothing else matters or can be justified. I am truly saddened and afraid that the smattering of confidence will be lost if the lingering ghost of possible election theft remains. I worked hard on this election and told people that their vote really counted. I want to continue to believe in our democracy. I am hoping that at least one of you care enough about our democracy to allow for a full investigation of this election. Please give me hope that we will once again be able to believe that our votes are counted fairly. Our democracy depends on it.
Please support a law that requires a paper reciept or trail for electronic voting machines. They could be manipulated so easily. Do not certify the election until all reports of voting irregularities have been thoroughly investigated.

It does not take and Eagle's Eye to spot the voting violations in the 2004 Presidential Election. Rep. John Conyers is currently compiling a report that he will list the major violations and possible fraud in the 2004 Election.

I worked as an election inspector in Boston, and I saw firsthand how human/machine error could have easily tainted this election. We are a democracy that still hasn't figured out how to run a uniformly fair election. Let's make sure there's a paper record for every vote, so that we can make sure EVERY VOTE COUNTS!
I do not want to see Democracy die on Jan 6th. The election "anomolies" must be investigated before there can be any certification. If the Ukraine can have a revotebecause of questions about the gap between exit polls and reported vote totals, then so can Ohio. Don't let the fraud be certified!

Please join Senator Conyers in his call to debate and highlight the problems in the Ohio election that have apparently disenfranchised innumerable voters and cast the integrity of our democratic system in a questionable light.
With such extensive evidence of tampering, please represent your people and call for a recasting of the federal election--this time with paper trails and non-partisan officials.

Please stand up against this administration. They clearly have no regard for national law, international law, or basic human rights. We must stop them now, or there will be no American Democracy to defend.
