Please contest and demand reform in the electoral college vote on January 6th. Maybe even eliminate the electoral college system entirely and just have the popular vote. We need to standardize the voting systems throughout the country and ensure that every voting machine has a paper trail.
The foundation of this representative democracy is sufficient transparency to to be credible. This has not been the case in the last two presidential elections. We have been special and have lectured other countries that we are special because we are a nation of laws that apply to the greatest and the least of us. Let's live up to that principle.

PLease this is not how i believe that this country should work . We must look at all the facts. He has brought us some of the worst times this country has seen in a long time . We went form haveing one of the best conditioned economies to the worst its ever been. Also in 9/11 out of all the planes sent out , one had osama But thats to vagie of a reason why this should pass a good reason is becuse he is not the best thing for this country look form times of peace to times of war. We are stuck in iraq and we cant leave without hurting our people our pride or our power. But all in the end he repeted ly makes mistakes and that is not the atributes we need in a leder in our great nation. But lastly i think that he has done his best , also we must look at he great things he has done.. oh sorry no real ones that stand out.. look at the states that voted in favor of him... the ones brigning all the cash and tech and the best educated ones are voting in favor of other people...and in the end if this is not passed rember this and rember that all this could be changed right now
This is about the integrity of the vote, ultimately as it impacts every elective position, your own service to the country depends on this very integrity too, to keep you in office. This is not a partisan matter.
It is a travesty that not one senator stood up in 2000 after the election was stolen. I hope that doesn't happen again. What about the exit polls? Why did so many states swing to Bush after exit polls put Kerry in the lead?
Do not certify the election...too many voting irregularities. Disenfranchisement of innumerable voters in Ohio alone!!!! Be a patriot. This is a non-partisan issue. FIGHT ON!!!

It is vital that this election not be certified! There is just no way to provide Americans faith in our electoral process if this election is certified! BE BRAVE!!

The election fraud in the USA is humiliating and a disgrace. It further emphasizes the raging hypocrasy that makes this country reprehensible in the eyes of so much of the world. How can we expect anyone else to stop their human rights abuses when we are as culpable as any other nation? I urge you not to certify the election results! There should be another vote, and this vote should be closely monitored by the United Nations. After all, the US would be the first country to scream if the same scenaio took place anywhere else on the planet!
It may be unlikely to change the outcome, but the problems and irregularities deserve to be fully investigated. Your action will bring sunshine to a cloud that hangs over the election: sunshine the mainstream media seems unwilling to shine probably because there has not been sufficient "opposition" from officials like you.
Watching that scene that happened on the floor of Congress (Thank you Micael Moore-- A true Patriot!) I was embarrassed for my country. Please redeem yourselves-- redeem America, while the world watches.
Certifying the election is tantamount to condoning unethical behavior and illegal voting action, setting a precedent for such actions becoming commonplace. Our country is a democracy...not the personal possession of a select few.
Please DO NOT certify this election until all concerns and issues have been thoroughly and fairly investigated. Our right to free, fair and honest elections is most precious. As long as the very integrity of our election process is in question, we cannot have faith in our government or our leaders. As our representatives we endow YOU with the responsibility of upholding the democratic principles we all hold so dear. Ironically, our nation's leaders were among the first to decry as invalid the first election in the Ukraine. We MUST hold our government to the same standards of honor and fairness in our own elections for the highest offices in the nation. As an American citizen living abroad, I am embarrased to answer the question "where are you from?" The U.S. has not only lost credibility with the rest of the world but has proven again that the people are incapable of standing up for themselves and assuring a fair vote. If the Russians can turn around a crooked election so can we. U.S. foriegn policy is a bigger threat to world peace than all terrorist groups put together. It is precicely that policy that is instigating terrorist attacks.Bush does'nt belong in the White House any more than our troops belong in the Middle East.
Easily hackable electronic voting machines without paper trails are unthinkable. How could this have happened? Please stand up for our voting rights and investigate the 2004 presidential election!
I have sued Volusia County, Florida to overturn the election here because of widespread irregularities, for which I have proof. Volusia County's election is not certifiably accurate, and the events here contain all the elements of fraud. In Ohio and Florida there is more evidence of corruption than there was in the Ukraine. Please do not fail us a second time. Our democracy is at stake. Please stand up and fight for what you know is right: Speak out against certifying this election. The myth is that speaking out will divide our country. In fact, the opposite is true. How can we live with fraud, deception and lies and remain a vital society? The time to speak up is NOW. Beyond this, I also think any state official, such as Blackwell and Harris(2000),should be disqualified from having a role in the presidential campaign. It obviously is a conflict of interest when that person is also called upon to make decisions about the validity of the voting process. Credibility in the voting process is lost!
I ask, with everything that is now coming to light regarding Ohio in mind, that SOMEone stand up to the partisan theft of our nations present and future history-could it truly be that the people in the Ukraine live in a more democratic nation than ours? Is the idea of American democracy merely a myth? PLEASE try to put a stop to this. For the sake of my children and yours.
Please don't let the disgrace of four years ago--when not one Senator showed the moral and political fortitude to join their black House colleagues in objecting to election abuses in Florida--be repeated. We ask you to join Congressman John Conyers and others in objecting to voting abuses of many kinds in Ohio, Florida, and elsewhere. The threat to our democracy is real and frightening.
