There were too many anomalies all over the country in this election, all favoring the Republicans for it to be coincidence. I think there was a massive fraud perpretated and this must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If necessary there should be a new vote in the whole country, as there was in the Ukraine, this time with paper ballots, controlled by members of all the parties in all the districts.

Make this a true Democracy and hold the Presidential Election all over again with NO electronic voting machines. Forget the re-counts because those are fraudulent as well, some of the machines have been cleared of data and some of the data has been spirited away by Blackwell and his cronies. Something has to give here, the American people are being held hostage by a deceiving government.
This is a critical opportunity to review not only this election but our election processes in general. It is not a partisan concern; it is a concern for all of us who care about the democratic process. Please make an act of courage and support a full discussion of the election results.

We must conduct a full investigation of the irregularities before certifying this election. ANy other course of acion is a violation of the pulic trust and the democratic principles of out country.

The 2004 election cemented the power of the far right. Not only do they own the three brancehes of gov't, but now they control the voting booths.
PLEASE! Help us get back our democracy!
The long lines in areas known to be liberal are disturbing. Too mnay complaints of rediculously long lines when the number of voters is clearly known and the time it takes to vote is clearly known is very suspicious.
We have been in post constituional America ever since Bush stole the 2000 election.Please stop him from further destruction of American and the planet. Return honesty andsanity to America and the world.
I was canvassing in Ohio on election day and heard first hand many, MANY accounts from voters who had issues at the polls ranging from being denied the right to vote, even though they had a valid voter registration card (denied provisional ballots too) to problems w/ the ballots not lining up properly on the machines, specifically the line for Kerry, making it impossible to know whether or not you had actually cast your vote for your chosen candidate.
We simply CANNOT tolerate this sort of activity in the U.S.. If we do, we are no longer the beacon of Democracy we claim to be.
You owe it to the American people to CONTEST this vote, looking at the miriad charges with an open mind and heart. Any uproar or disallusionment that might result from demanding a revote is nothing compared to the cost to Democracy if this vote is allowed to stand.

Voting accuracy is about votes in future elections, more than just the 2004 election results. Please consider legislation that will improve the fairness and accuracy of these future votes.
Maintaining legitimate elections is the most crucial factor in sustaining the experiment of democracy in America. We did not hold a free, fair or legitimate election in 11/04. How can we seat a president based on an election in which untold thousands of votes are unverifiable, and thousands were documented as unable to vote despite their attempts to do so.
Please do not allow our democracy to die. With the events of last few elections it is apparent the people no longer decide in this country. He who counts the votes holds the power.
We are asking on behalf of fair voting and our democracy to please not certify the 2004 election until all voting problems and possible fraud as been provened or disprovened.
How long do we allow voting irregularities to flaw our democracy? Why are partisan individual the ones making election decisions/policies in each state?
Our great and beloved country needs to react to the documented voting problems and possible fraud. Otherwise, we'll be viewed as a fraud by the rest of the world.
Please stand up for our democracy. If you don't challenge the electoral votes or investigate the voting irregularities now, it will happen again and again.
Do the right thing. Our democracy is at stake. Rep. Conyers and many acknowledged specialists have amassed data and raised more than enough doubt about the credibility of the 2004 election (esp. in Ohio). Upwards of 50% of all Democrats (25% of the electorate) do not believe this election was legitimate. Please REPRESENT us by following the courageous lead of Conyers, Jesse Jackson, and others, follow your conscience, and CONTEST the certification of this election. Further nonpartisan investigation must be done, and if necessary we need a re-vote. Our democracy deserves no less.
I respectfully request that you take action as a Senator to recognize that the November 2, 2004 presidential election was fraught with voting violations, misconduct of some highly placed election officials, tampering, voter suppression, interference targeted at communities of people of color, students, and poor people – all of which has raised suspicions in many minds that this was not a free, fair and honest election
It may turn out that this election went as cleanly as could be hoped for, but this is nigh impossible. It may turn out that, even though some fraud took place, it is within levels deemed "acceptable". (But who determines acceptable?)
However, until this time, this vote should not be certified until an extremely extensive investigation into the fraud questions has concluded.
Do not gloss over the election irregularities. Blocking the electoral certification is the way to begin major election reform to restore confidence in our elections.
Senators- Please do for 2004 what you did not do for 2000: support members of Congress to challange the validity of the Presidential election. Imagine if just one of you challanged for Gore then, how different our world would be now. If it's good enough for the Ukraine, it better be good enough for us.

I have friends abroad that are shocked at Americas own deregard for a honest election, while using force in Iran to secure democracy there! I'm 48 & vote in every election since I was 18 big or small, & always felt it was my obilgation as a American to vote. "Of the People, By the People, & For the People" Now I'm not so sure it really matters. Wheres my America?? I want to feel good about living in a American Democracy again!
I believe we Democrats won this election. The Reps. did this in the last election and it's time to call their hand and put an end their thieviery; do not let them do this again.

Every vote should be counted and every electronic machine audited before we inagurate the next President! Otherwise, our Republic is nothing more than a sham.
Democracy is at stake. This is the second national election our nation has had that involved questionable tactics and results. Please give us back the America that once was.
In addition to problems with paperless voting machines, paper ballot totals are tabulated by Windows-based computers whose security is suspect, so tampering is a possibility in this case. Recountswould be possible in these cases.
