We the undersigned respectfully demand that Sergeant's Pet Care Products pull their SENTRYPRO XFC Flea and Tick Squeeze On for Dogs OFF the market without delay. The reason for our petition is that we have all had dogs that have been critically sickened or killed our dogs. We REJECT the representation that this is normal and that many products have a small percentage of subjects that react negatively. We also know that a representative of Sergeant's has visited a certain internet forum, which can be found by using the product name in an internet search engine, and has acknowledged this condition and tried to explain it away. Case after case is reported in said forum, all with the same conditions and reactions. We trusted your company because we fully expected you to care about the products you produce and about the pets that we all have and love. We ask now that you do the right thing and pull this product until you can determine why it has such a detrimental effect on many dogs.

I support this petition. My dog was sick within 2 hours of applying the sentry Pro XFC. I washed him 4 times trying to make sure he was free of this so called safe flea and tick medication. Do they not have a clue as to how much we love our animals!!!! We don\'t trust sergents ANYMORE!!!!! Debbie Ray

I support this petition. My 7 year old mixed terrier, Rose, is at the emergency clinic right now because of this product. I normally buy topical flea and tick treatment from my veterinarian, but after finding several ticks on my dog yesterday (Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009) I decided to purchase a product at my local pet supply store, rather than waiting until the vet office was open. Shortly after applying this treatment Rose began having tremors and biting and licking as if something was stuck in her mouth. The tremors increased into what appeared to be small seizures as we were taking her to the emergency room. The veterinarian has said she expects Rose to recover fully, but after seeing so many posts online regarding this product, I\'m appalled that the company has not voluntarily removed this product from the market. While the $600 that the veterinarian has estimated the emergency room visit will cost is significant, I am most angry that Sergeant\'s Pet Care Products knows about the severe reactions their product causes and still offers this product for sale.

I support this petition. I have just experienced this poison with my 2 shih tzus. Within an hour and a half my dogs were running around crying. After a bath and rushing my dogs, and the package, to the vet, my vet called the hotline. Confirmed that I had used the product properly and their recommended treatment. It took many Dawn and oatmeal baths, vitamin E applications, benadryl, vet trip, prednisone prescription, much worry, and so much needless pain for my dogs, in order for us to try to undo the application of Sentry Pro XFC. It took 23 HOURS for one of my dogs to even lay down for 10 seconds! This is outrageous! I cannot believe a product like this can even be sold. I will never purchase another Sergeants and/or subsidiaries product again. I will spread the word of how dangerous this product is. Take it off the shelves now. How dare you keep a product like this available for innocent customers to purchase. Some may trust your name(s), I certainly will not, ever.
