I need support in order to make the Serramonte Mall construct a proper and safe barrier around their indoor pond to protect the small water turtles and koi fish. The pond gives too much access for small children to abuse the small sanctuary containing fragile water turtles whom include babies as well as many koi fish. My mother has layed actual witness to children throwing rocks from the pond at the turtles and fish and security did nothing about it! One of the rocks impacted one of the small turtles deeply frightening many of the turtles whom swam away and hid! I demand that at least some type of plexiglass structure be constructed to surround the entire pond at a safe given height in order for this incident not to occur again. Surveillance of the pond is by camera but i feel is not enough. We need more protection for these small lovely creatures. I feel the pond to be a beautiful structure inside the mall and enjoy it when i visit but mine and many others enjoyment should not be a reason for the small animals safety to be at risk. I ask for my small voice be made much louder and with all your help.
