I'd love to see a sequel. But not based on any SH game. I'd like to see new, sorrowful, breathtaking story. I like the way the 21 Grams was made... Would be cool idea brought to SH2...
because silent hill 2 was better than the 1st. Work that plot in there and you have a good movie, otherwise your probably better off letting your sequal dreams die.
Silent Hill is a truly amazing film. Please return for the sequel and continue to make the fans like me proud! I beg you, do not let it fall into another director's hands...

I support this petition because the "Silent Hill" film adaptation was simply incredible. unlike most game-to-film interpretations, "Silent Hill" gave fans what they wanted, and the creative potential for an even better sequel is painfully obvious. please give us, the fans, another treat for our eyes to feast on - a sequel to "Silent Hill"
There certainly needs to be a sequel. And it does have to be directed by Christophe Gans. Done the exact same way as the current movie with no over done special effects, done with costumed people and such it would be brilliant!
there's never been a better video game adaptation. Of course it couldn't be a perfect translation, but no one else could have done better. I sincerely hope that Mr. Gans will direct the sequel, whichever plot it may be.
I support this petition because Ever since i played silent hill 2, which was my 1st experience with Sh series i wanted a movie.. and i finally got one. and i'm begging for more. my favoite game is Sh3 and a sequel whould be perfect!!
but I beg that you stick closely to the plot (regarding Silent Hill 2). It is the finest game in the series and the fan favorite by far. If you were to change the story around, it would devastate us (the loyal fans).
There were some confusing elements in the change of plot to vengence, but 3/4 of the game was captured. I am a huge fan, Gans has branched off the original plot, he'd better damn well take it some where b/c now nobody else is going to touch the serires.
The first film was a success in my opinion and definitely got better word of mouth than any other videogame adaptation, and for good reason. And it ended, obviously, with a second in mind -- at least in telling. Could be left at that, but it was such an intimate story and I think we want to see what's going to happen next while waiting on the new games. Christophe Gans and Roger Avary wanted to do the Silent Hill 2 game into a film originally, but now that they successfully set a foundation for it, I think they should go all out.
this was easily one of THE best move adaptations of a video game. I found it to be an outstanding horror/video game film, Gans did an amazing job, the creepy SH atmosphere was definately there...the monsters, the sounds, the visuals, just everything! I am definately looking forward to a sequel n__n
It definitely screams out for a sequel. The husband will go back and look for his wife who is stuck in a parrallel world. Then while he's there.... all HELL breaks loose. Look out, Pyramid Head AHHH!
I support this petition because not only have I beat every one of the Silent Hill games ever made, and got every ending for each one of them (yes I'm a very big fan of them, scariest games ever) but also because Christophe actually made me believe that what I saw on film was Silent Hill. I felt like I was watching the game. The sounds were amazing, the visuals astonishing, and the best video game to movie adaptation ever (thank god it was this one). So please Christophe bring us a sequel, and lets see if you can creep me out like the games did, I dare ya.
The music created the emotion and feel of Silent Hill, it's what I admired most of the film, the viusal art was outstanding, and I was amazed they mastered that well, the character's didnt quite have enough depth but it was defintally the best game-to-movie adaption so far, and I would love to see a second film capturing even more, and creating more of what they missed in the first one.
Silent Hill surprised me. My son is a big fan of Resident Evil and Silent Hill and before seeing Silent Hill I thought it would be a lot like Resident Evil was, but it completely surpassed my expectations. I am really hoping for a sequel.
Silent Hill needs a sequel. We need more GOOD horror movies with DEPTH and THOUGHT-PROVOKING subject matter. With all of the lame excuses for horror movies and videogame adaptations out there, we need good movies. Besides, Silent Hill is TEH PWNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG PLEEEZ MAKE A SEQUELL!!!!!!...I rest my case.
