If you have played ANY of the SH saga then you have no choice but to love the movie and HE** YES i wanna see a sequel you can't leave us hanging like that!!!!
Class A production with great care for accuracy in all levels of production. I know of quite a few who want to see the next installment made with the same care and creativity from the same crew.
All nitpicking aside, there is no denying that the first movie was faithful to the look and feel of the Silent Hill universe. Giving us a sequel will allow story comparisons to go away and allow us fans to continue following the new saga of Rose and Sharon. I'd love to see where this story ends up.
because I would like to see more horribly sad tales set in the creepy town of Silent Hill. Not necessarily with the same actors, but new storylines altogether... It was a wonderfully visceral movie and the style alone warrants a sequel. Radha Mitchell is hot and I'm proud that she's Australian - she did a terrific job.
because I think it's the best horror film ever made, hands down. Visually amazing, true to the games, and not a rip-off of another movie by any means.
Yet most the critics (who are supposed to be professionals at what they do) couldn't understand it!?...Apparently they didn't pay much attention. It's not THAT hard to follow. My dad understood it perfectly fine (ending and all) having never played any of the video games, but Roger Ebert could not?
I think a sequel should be made, but not any time soon. Wait for a few more Silent Hill games to be released, then they'll have more new material to work with to keep it fresh. That would give them plenty of time to plan out another one while being given even more material to work with.
because the movie was just plain crazy. I haven't played much of the game, but the movie was just so nightmarish. The chainsaw weilding horror has been done. This was a truly original gem
i loved this movie the ending left us hanging wanting more and wondering what happened to rose and sharon. id love the 2nd one for chris to go looking for them in silent hill and more pyramid head.

Yeah i support this petition. this film was just amazing and was so so under-rate that needs and deserves a sequel for all of us to enjoy it, and make the world learn to love silent hill!
i have watched it at the theaters and i bought the dvd and have watched it every night since it came out... I hate being left on the edge with no conclusion
the Silent Hill story style has potential for additional movies. Forget Rose, Sean Bean (please!), and continue as the games do: tie back to the original in subtle ways, but create a self-supporting graphic novel on the way. Continue to use fresh unknown talent, music from the game (best thing I've heard in recent movies), and leverage the disturbing, though-provoking style that made the first movie a sleeping giant!
because it was a great horror film,very surreal. There's plenty of room to expand on Sean Bean's character (especially since he promised to return to the town) and have him play theJames-type character from SH2 looking for his wife and child. Please make this sequel!
I get excited just thinking about a sequal, SH has the plot potential to be bigger that the RE movies. I guarantee if you listen to your fans on this one, you'll be thanking us all the way to the bank. Besides, Roses husband has to return to SH to try and find her doesn't he- that would flow really well with the story of SH2.
Having played the silent hill vg series, I believe that the 2nd game had the most intruiging storyline by far, so I see no reason why there shouldn't be a sequel... I'll even help out if somebody will offer to pay my airfare!!
Silent is one of the few great horror movies the era of slashers and horrobily made horror films. we need to finish this series with one more film. how about some better makerting, a much needed sequal.

This is by far the best movie I've ever seen. Silent Hill is my favorite video game and I think that you should definitely make a sequel based on part 3. I think you did an excellent job.
You did an excellent job and I hope you'll also consider a 2 disc DVD with more behind the scenes extras (digital effects) and more background about the actuall Silent Hill games.
because I am a huge fan of the Silent Hill videogame franchise and I thought you were very faithful to the series....it was the best videogame adaption to date and I would love to see you top it!
