Please make a sequel! I too would hope that it could possibly be SH2. I think that would be the best game to make a movie of and I'd certainly watch it. It'd be so interesting. You did such a great job of this movie, Christophe. Us SH fans would love to see another! Show everyone the beauty of such a misunderstood game!
I've be very happy with a sequel to this movie, but I do wish it to be based on the sencond story with the characters James, Mary, etc, that game was so unique in everyway, the story was fantastic, I see most would agree as I read the other's comments, I believe this movie would be one of the most successful movies ever, i can image it now just...wow its hard to explain but yes I sign this for a SH sequel based directly on the second game.
The movie generates pulsing tension at times and yet is still engrossing; so much atmosphere with prod. design and creatures, and compelling layers of demented depth to the characters, their relationships, and their twisted reality, that words cannot relate it. More films made with the same passion, and now also with experience of synthesizing so many complex elements, would guarantee high art and very likely continuing commercial success for the talented bunch of individuals involved in this movie.
movies like this only come once in a while, the plot is intense and actually makes you use your brain and your own opinions. the 2nd film must be made. if its anything like the game, it will nock some socks off
u must make another silent hill. this movie was amazing but the ending was a todal cliff hanger!!! which i didnt like. Soooo another movie must be made!
The great thing about the Silent Hill games was that they were non-sequitor (3 notwithstanding). A sequel would be so possible because it needs not follow the plot of the first. Eagerly awaiting confirmation either way.
Silent hill being one of the best horror genre games had something very unique that seperated it from other games. It was the emotional side that made it epic. The movie was on the same ground and was very well made. A sequel can further continue to tell the ever disturbing tales of the tainted town we love to call as Silent Hill.
Silent hill rocked so hard. It was true to the game and maintained such an atmosphere that is very often lacking in modern horror films. I wanna see another one come out.
i want the sequel to happen and it should be about pyramid head and how he came to be because pyramid head was only in 3 or 4 scene's in the movie and i wanna see more of him!!
I have to say, I have been a silent hill fan for meny years, and althow the movie wasnt exactly as I expected it.. I was most impressed, and maybe thats why I enjoyed it so much. Lets get Mr Walter Sullivan involved maybe..
Christopher Gans, YOu cannot allow the success of pleasing the fans to be overlooked and unapreciated. only a true genius like yourself could achieve this along with Akira's Guidance, accuracy and amazing visuals. please come back and Direct a Sequel with a story just as complex and riveting as Silent Hill 2 videogame
I support this petition, and silent hill 3 was a brilliant game, instead of silence building the player his or her anxiety and causing fear like the second. The third threw the fear we see in our dreams right in our faces. You would half to continue the movie from the third for the fact that the ending was left off to continue from the daughters point of view years later. The devil in the form of Sharon creates the world around her from inside her and that is what the sequel should be. Please Christophe, ur the only one who realy knows how to bring the atmosphere from Silent Hill to a movie, and thats amazing to all of us.
The movie was a work of art. Strangers too the saga didn't like it because there wasn't enough exploding cars or motorcycle chases. Fans of the serious, though, fell in love with it. A cult favorite is better than a box-office hit. Keep it alive!
I definatly support this petition! There has to be a sequel just as good as the first one. But please, let it be directed by Christophe Gans. He is so far the only one to port a videogame to a movie that feels like the game did!

The recreation of the game was near perfect i am a massive fan of the genre and was pleased to say your movie ticked all the right boxes for me well done, i hope to see the sequal hit the cinemas soon!
I loved Silent Hill and I think that it would be really awesome to have a second one to follow what else happens. There is a huge cliff hanger, IMO, and I think that there should be a second to close the story off. :)
