This is a disgusting and shameful development. Safety first and our resources are just that, OURS.They are not for sale by the right winged corrupt lowlife in government.
Changes must come from where the first wrong decision was made in order to get to the bottom layer of legal wrangle which has seen our 5 courages heros spend ther 4th week in jail. The issue here is a one of a major safety hazard which has been ignored by the leaders of our state and by ordinary people everywhere and we owe a depth of gratitude to the 5 and their families who held out to this stage to make us all realise what was actually going on behind the scenes that our politians either chose to ignore or were to dum to notice. The resitance to shell and statoil is only in its infancy and will continue to grow and at the end of the day Govt will have to review policy and Shell can go to hell or to sea and for all the irish people are getting out of the current deal it is not much differ which the choose.
In future history the Rossport 5 will be in remembered in the same league of Irish Heros as Davitt, Pearse & Tone and we should be proud to support them.

It is shocking that the agencies of the Irish state have permitted an experimental, high-pressure gas pipe to be built without regard for the safety of local people. It's even more shocking that five people are still in prison because they want to protect their communities. Let them out now.
