Art Show, lets make it happen.


It's up to you to decide weather or not this show will go on. We need at least 200 solid commitments to make it happen. This is more like a sign in sheet then a petition. I need to see how many people would be interested in entering an art show I am trying to put together. It will be held somewhere in the New York/New Jersey area.....I am shooting to have it somewhere in Manhattan. Please note there will be an admissions fee to cover cost of rent, promotion, security and so forth. Cost for admissions would depend largely on cost of the rental space and how many people enter. We estimate cost to be around $55 per entry IF we get 200 people to enter (this price is based on a show in the city, and if you've ever entered a show in Manhattan before, you know this is a good price). The show will not go on unless we have at least 200 solid commitments to enter. THE MORE PEOPLE THAT ENTER THE SHOW, THE CHEAPER IT WILL BE.I would promote this show in art magazines and newspapers, as well as pass out post card style flyers (in museums and galleries) and promote online. Those interested please leave your name and contact information in the comments section. I will set the "petition" to approve all comments and will NOT approve them. I will do this as a privacy feature for you. No one but me will be able to see your information.

This is only to see if I can get enough people to make this happen. A venue will be saute out after I know how many people are willing to commit. The only reason I am doing it this way is because I do not have enough money to rent a place by myself. Once I find out how many people are committing, I will see how much funds we have to get a place. I will try to have the show up for at least a week sometime during the summer. Please note I will NOT be collecting money until I find a place. At that time I will notify you as to where and when the show is to happen and ask for your admission fee. Art Work can be shipped to the show, if you are not close by. If you do this please know that I am not responsible for any damages that might occur during the shipping process.
