Yes, well,before all you Harmony shippers start flaming people here, let me just say that I, for one, don't think that all H/Hr shippers are delusional. No,a lot are actually really nice people and they've already accepted canon. But then this is not about them; this is about the minority that chooses to believe to the contrary. Come on,people; JKR wrote the books, she planned the story,she made the Harry Potter universe. As much as shippers want their respective ships to succeed, it's ultimately JKR who gets the last say on the matter. And you can't really question the person who made the story;if not for her, there would be no ships--and no characters to pair up--in the first place. So please no lampooning JK. Honestly, the "boycotting the seventh book" thing. Please bear in mind that,however you shippers might disagree, relationships are only a SUBplot;instead of flame wars, let's try and focus on the main story here, people:Harry vs Voldemort. Also, a lot of people are also dedicated fans; just because they don't have a rabid devotion to various ships doesn't mean that they aren't fans of the HP books. To sum things up, we can't really forc the author to bend the story so that shippers' desires can be accomodated. Bear in mind that we're only reading the novels, not writing them.
