I support that because i am sidekick2 user ,one thing i complaints that they add voice data on sidekick2 ,i have many device that i already test ,,some of them are not improved ,,,i would prefer for them to cut down the price for deaf to affords
My husband is deaf, and I know first hand what the deaf community goes through in terms of all the inequalities the world has TOWARD DEAF PEOPLE. Why is there even a petition about this, no one who has their hearing knows what its like to be deaf, so how can someone disregard it and say "ok so their deaf, big deal why should they get a hand out!" are you kidding, imagine not being able to hear the phone ring, or a bird chirp, or your childs firsts words. I think everyone who actually signs this petition is rude and ignorant. If being deaf is truely "no big deal" take a pencil and pop out your ear drums, see how long you last!
I don't support this because Tmobile is a buisness and having a buisness you have to sell to make money. Plus you also don't need a sidekick anyways. Ok your deaf but you can use any other phone all of them have tty on them. I know this because I am a phone atic and buy about 8 to 10 phones a year, i can afford it and i am only seventeen. So i am sorry and not to be rude but Tmoibl will not lower their prie on the sidekick just because your deaf. SORRY!!!

Some deaf can't afford. Who has no job while they still on S.S.I. Since now.
As how they can call their family, friends, work, Doctor appointment.

Truth is if want can buy cellphone $50.00 with text msg plan same as hearing do. Then is less expensive and same. Many option now, just not buy SK2 and support other cellphone and plans.
Pricing in your petition may not be up to date. Seen Prices as low as $150.00 if u take time to shop around. SKII also availible as Pre-Paid-No Contract or credit check...FYI
I live on SSDI and heading for graduation soon..Drop SSDI if you can. Live on your lives on your own. Honest pays off with Pride. I met all T-Mobile requirement and I enjoyed, of course, You get the up and down with T-Mobile service. If it has not please you, Try another line of service to satisfy your need.

I support this petition. I am on SSD, there's no way I can pay the high price. I tried getting one before.. I was told that I have to pay 500 dollars down first (based on my credit) and pay 399 for sk2.. 900???? wayyy too much for me. So I don't have sk2, its the best way to communicate with friends and emergency! Hearing people can buy cell phones for 50 dollars but hearing impaired are not able to get a cell phone. sk2 has everything ready for the hearing impaired. I hope Tmobile will reconsider giving a discount for those who have a good reason to get a sk2

Also this is really ripping us off.. I see that.. Why charging too much high for family plan... My husband and I have 3 sks under my husband including one friend is under of us and its should be cheaper on family plan than seperate account in one bill.. this really stressed out and driving us crazy and it should drives others crazy cause we are married and what if we have children and how can we ever afford to get other for them to have to keep in touch together if in emergencies... this really not making any sense with tmobile bill plan...
plus, why charging them for insurance 116 dollars every time it happens should be once and after that discounts cause we all have been paying so far with the bills! this also are very ripping off...

I support this petition. I was upset when I went to deaf fair or deaf expo and was planning to purchase sidekick II for $99. They said sorry they couldn't give me this deal because I am a current T-mobile customer. I had this sidekick color for 2 years and wouldn't give me a bargain deal. They said I will have to find a local dealer. I went there and said the price is $399 but I am a current customer and will offer me $299. I feel like it isn't fair for those new customer to get only $99. What a bull. So I am stuck with this only aim and no yahoo while all other new customers have both instant messenger.
Anyway about charging the price so high, I agree with it because I used to be on ssi and I wouldn't be able to afford while I am on ssi. Again I agree not many deaf people do have a decent job. Once they set up a special program for the low income deaf customers and believe me T-mobile will I mean will have a lot more deaf customer than they may ever realize. Ideal to gain more business from them and you, the T-mobile will thank the deaf customers as well.
Keep it up and hope one day we, the deaf customers, may be able to use the newest sidekick for Video relay Service (vrs) calls. That would be a huge PLUS. =)
I support this petition. Yeah I agree strongly about this t mobile. I know deafies need discounts on sidekicks. Some of us can't get to buy it cuz of bad credit. I know a lot of companies like to take an advantage of us cuz of their very greedy money for their own profit which should be full of it ha ha. T mobile pls respect us deafies and lower the new sidekick 2 prices and offer us some specials near future. I am very supportive with this.

If you want a cheap phone, get one and use text messaging. You are high on glue if you think you deserve a Sidekick. You don't DESERVE anything in life...you EARN it. Get an education, get a job, get a good credit rating, and then get a Sidekick II. You are EMBARRASSING us by signing your name and saying, "Just because I'm deaf I should get this for cheap or free." Where is your self-respect?
I support this petition. I am not talking about who is on ssi..there are some people who work at their job which paid very low. Some work under the table.. Deaf people don't have success like hearing people.. they have hard time to get the sidekick whatever they need for emergency to be in touch.. you see hearing people use the cell phone.. it is not fair for deaf people.. please give deaf people the reasonable price.. Please excuse their language/behavior. They don't know what they are doing..
