I support this petition. I love Simply Quilts on HGTV and DIY. In fact, I wish you would re-air the programs every evening...perhaps 10:00pm Pacific Standard Time so those of us who work during the day can stay in tune with the latest methods, ideas, tools, etc.
Thanking you in advance...quilting is an art form and so important to the American way of life.

I support this petition. I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WOULD CANCEL ONE OF THE FEW SHOWS THAT CATER TO QUILTERS/SEWERS. YET, YOU KEEP THE DEBBIE TRAVERS SHOWS. WHO FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS WOMAN. SHE HAS NO PERSONALITY. ALEX'S PERSONALITY IS A PLUS FOR THE SHOW. PLEASE KEEP SIMPLY WUILTS.
Frankly this is one of only two programs I find interesting on HGTV. It is heavily weighted to home decorating and other programs. I'd like not only to see Simply Quilts remain on the air but to ADD quilting/fabric design programs. Without new shows, I will stop watching HGTV.

Simply Quilts is Simply Outstanding. Alex Anderson is an incredible host who brings out the best in her guests, some of whom would not be able to provide their invaluable insights without her guidance. The quilting community is a multi-billion dollar industry; not only should you reconsider retaining Simply Quilts, you should be expanding your market to include other quilting programs.
Please don't cancel this educational and fun program. My mother and I love it. We've learned so much from Alex. Your reconsideration is so important. Please let us keep Simply Quilts.
I support this petition. I first got the quilting bug five years ago when I happended across Simply Quilts. I watch the show religiously and I have learned so much from Alex and her guests. They are such an inspiration.Please HGTV, you do such a great job bringing us programs that help us to be better decorators, gardeners, and homemakers. Keep up your high standards and give us what we enjoy. In fact I would like to suggest more quilt shows, i.e. Quilt in a Day and Love of Quilting. Let's keep HGTV as one of the best channels on cable.

Simply Quilts is the one show on HGTV that I DVR and watch faithfully. You are not meeting the needs of the quilting audience. This is the only quilting show in my market. Please reconsider your decision.
I support this petition. The ideas that have been shared on Simply Quilts have developed into great projects for me. Because of the commericals for the APQS longarm machine, I have purchased one. The industry of quilting is a multi-million dollar business and I believe HGTV is making a huge mistake by cancelling Simply Quilts.

I support this petition. When I was a beginning quilter, Simply Quilts helped to show me how to do a lot of the basic quilt fundamentals. This show is great for ALL quilters and would be truly missed if it was cancelled. Please don't cancel Simply Quilts!

I support this petition. The loss of this show will be greatly felt. There are too few shows on quilting as it is let alone one of such high standards as "Simply Quilts".
Simply Quilts is vitally important to the quilting community as the premier show available. It would be a travesty to see it discontinued to make room for less-appealing shows. HGTV, headquartered in beautiful east Tennessee, should have more allegiance to the heritage and tradition of it's viewers. I hope HGTV will seriously reconsider their decision.
I support this petition. It was because of simply quilts It made want to learn to quilt and with all the guests Alex has on made it easy to keep up with all the trends and tech. I am in a area that I can't get pbs so she has the best of the best on her show. Please don't take it away for of us that can't get to the teachers

This is the best quilting show on TV. You can't take it off and we need some new shows from Alex. I don't think I will watch your station after Feb. 2006. I watch the quilting show in the morning and other programs late evening if you take her show off will not watch your station at all. This show is a help to everyone that quilts or wants to.
