Her show is so informative and I have learned so much from watching every day about quilts from the past and innovative ideas for the future of quilts. I have many friends that watch this show as well and we are always talking about what we saw on the show in our quilt group. This show appeals to women and men of all ages. Yes, men do quilt, in case you didn't know. Watch the show and you'll find out what you didn't know about quilting techniques. You have the ability to prevent a huge mistake from being made. Again I say, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL SIMPLY QUILTS.
I support this petition. I used to have HGTV on all day, but you've cancelled most of my favorite shows, and have succumbed to the extreme/challenge fad. Simply Quilts is just about the only reason I have left to watch HGTV. Please don't ignore those of us who have been with you from the beginning.

I support this petition. I began quilting because of this show. It was as if Alex and her guests were right there with me. I tape everyday while at work so I can watch in the evening. How many more home dec shows does the public need. This show provides a valuable service in carrying on the tradition of quilting.
I support this petition. Simply Quilts is the reason I began quilting. It has taught many of us new tips, tricks, and wonderful ideas and designs used for making quilts. Quilting is an art. It needs to be passed from one generation to another. Simply Quilts helps that process, especially when there are no quilt shops or guilds close enough to join. We pay for HGTV coming into our homes. If there is nothing on HGTV that appeals to me, why should I continue to pay for it ? I won't !!

I support this petition. Simply quilts is a unique program on HGTV. It keeps the quilting community informed of the newest trends and techniques as well as introducing the art of quilting to designers, decorators, artists--the public at large. Quilting is a big money business and shows like Simply Quilts promote sales of books, tools, fabrics, etc. You would be doing your network and your viewers a disservice to cancel. We do not need another home dec program that is simply a rehash of another home dec program.

This program has some of the best quilting information that I've ever seen. I've learned so much about quilting from Alex Anderson. It's very dissapoinging that you would take it off the air. This is definitely one of the upper eschelon programs on HGTV.

I have been a guest on Simply Quilts (#509). SQ has been a valuable asset to quilters everywhere (especially those in areas without a LQS for classes). You would not believe how many responses I personally have received soley due to that appearance.
There are too few quilting specific shows of quality available out there. SQ IS one of the best. Please keep SQ on the air!

I support this petition. Simply Quilts anchors my viewing of HGTV for the remainder of the day. It is hard pressed to believe it doesn't draw a wide enough audience to continue to be profitable for HGTV and the show's sponsors.
This is one of your best shows. Many moms, grandmoms, greatgrandmoms, and grandchildren have learned the great American Art of quilting from this show. Very few stations have the forethought to put longstanding American utilitarian as well as contemporary art forms on their network. Quilting in America dates back for centuries and is a very important artform today. "Simply Quilts" is the only educator in this area as well as teaching many quilt techniques found today. I watch this show everyday and only because of this show watch some that come before and after. Big loss for you to cancel the show.

HGTV is going to lost a very important show if they cancel Simple Quilts. I don't watch it live due to the time 5:30AM, but do Tivo it and watch it later. There are VERY few shows I enjoy on TV. There are not many Quilt Shows and this will be a sad lose in the quilt world. HGTV is mading a BIG mistake and I can't believe they want to take this important show off the air. What is the problem? I know at my quilt guild meetings someone is always sharing something they saw on Simply Quilts...I don't understand how they can have all those channels with sports,etc& nothing

I support this petition. HGYV has 1 quilting show and all these other shows about decorating your house. Who cares about them? I would rather spend my time watching a quilt show where I will learn something. Alex Anderson and her guests are wonderful and a great way for quilters to learn a new technique or even refresh an old one. Keep Simply Quilts on HGTV. You are missing a bet by not keeping on this show.
I support this petition. There should be more quilting shows on tv. I also love "quilt in a Day" but our local PBS channel no longer carries it. Regular tv shows hold no interest for me. PLEASE don't cancel one of the few shows I like.
