Can't believe you are cancelling this show. You need to rethink this one. There needs to be more programs for quilters - not less. A quilt is handmade with love and lasts forever - and becomes part of our heritage/ redesigning a room is temporary.
I support this petition. I was inspired by this program to start quilting and have enjoyed both the program and quilting for several years now. PLEASE, do not cancel this program. It's important to carry on with a traditional craft and one that brings so many people together. Alex is the best!!!!!!!!!
I support this petition. This is the only show that I tape and I share the techniques with my middle school student quilts both girls and boys. The younger generation needs this show and I hope you hear all of us LOUD AND CLEAR!!

I support this petition. Simply Quilts is the best - most other quilt shows are produced by PBS and not all PBS stations carry them. Do not abandon quilting during the height of it's revival!! Although I watch many programs on HGTV I would boycott the channel if Simply Quilts is cancelled.

I support this petition. I can't believe you are even thinking about dropping Simply Quilts. I watch it every day. I admit that some of them have been on again and again, but I watch anyway. We need new sessions, not dropping the entire program. Please keep this program. Quilting has made a big revival in the last few years--this is the only HGTV show that I watch.

Quilting is a part of history and culture that needs to continue to be passed along. Few of us will build a house but many of us will warm a home with a quilt!

I support this petition. I am so frustrated that quilting shows are being replaced even on public television with other things such as yoga. We do not need another house show nor do we need another crafters show. I live in semi-rural America. I can tell you there are thousands of quilters here but not one clay, or bead person. And I only know 1 person who actually does scrap booking.

The quilting audience in the US is HUGE and the only reason I tune to HGTV is because of Simply Quilts. ONce on in the morning, it stays on for most of the day. Without Simply Quilts on the air, I doubt that I will tune into HGTV. Really a bad idea.

Simply Quilts led me to discover the joys of quilting it is the only quilting program I have available and I would very much miss the wonderful ideas and techniques if it is taken away. Please reconsider and keep this helpful and entertaining program on HGTV.
I support this petition. Alex's show is one of the very few on HGTV where you are shown an actual process! Unlike some of the unreal/absurd real estate or rehab shows that are pure fantasy! HGTV, you need more process shows like Alex's, we are always innovating in the quilting population and Alex provides the conduit for the information to get to the greatest number of people!
I support this petition. We don't have enough quilt shows as it is. We have enough fishing, and building shows and who cares who buys what house and etc.
I support this petition. I TYVO all of the shows and watch them when I have free time. Needless to say, some of them I watch over and over. This is how we quilters keep up with what is going on in the quuilting world. So many of the shows are "product driven" but this one is not. There will be no reason for me to watch DIY and HGTV once there are no new programs.

I support this petition. this is the only show i tape on a daily basis. i have learned so much from the show and value it more than i can say. it is because of this show that i watch you station, and have several other shows which when possible i tune in for, there is so little of value on tv these days, if i am not watching hgtv i usually don't even have the tv on.
I support this petition. Lack of a quilting show will seriously reduce the HGTV audiance. I know I will watch the food network or some other station at times when I would normally have HGTv on.

This has been one of the very best teaching programs I have ever watched and taped and taped and gave this recommendation to every person I know that are quilters or want to be quilters. I support this petition. This is one of the few shows on TV that I actually enjoy watching. It would be a shame for there to be no new episodes. I watch it so much I have probably seen all the old ones already.
I support this petition. I can't believe you are taking off the one show that is about quilting. I watch all the new episodes and many of the old ones. You learn so many new techniques. It has helped me in my quilting significantly. I have many shows taped so that I can make the quilts they feature.
