I support this petition. This show is so much more than just quilting. It provides our heritage of the past as well as promote new and exciting avenues in the quilting arts. It is hard to understand why you would consider cancelling this program when you have multiple segments of crafting, home decorating, etc. which are basically the same material repeated through different hosts. Simply Quilts provides an option to the repetition of the programming provided by HGTV. Please reconsider your decision to cancel this program.

I support this petition. I've never understood why a "home and garden" devoted channel would have only one quilt show. And now, to cancel that. Do any of you have any idea how many quilters are out here in the real world and how much money we spend?

Please consider having Alex doing new shows. I watch this show everyday and I've learned so much from her and her guests. You have too many home dec. shows and it would be wrong to take off our only quilting show. You might get rid of Iron Chef type shows and consider putting Simply Quilts on during the evenings. I support this petition. HGTV has a lot of decorating show with the no-sew philisophy. People need to learn to sew! We need to protect and pass on the tradional art of quiltmaking to the next generation.

I hope you will reconsider not carrying new episodes of Simply Quilts. This in one of the shows on HGTV that I watch or tape on a daily basis. Without it I will probably cancel my cable as other then this I watch mainly regular TV stations. PLEASE RETHINK THIS DECISION.

I support this petition. Simply Quilts is one of the few quilting shows shown nationally. It is a teaching tool which I watch daily. Alex Anderson provides a full spectrum of quilting interests - for the beginning quilter to the advanced artist. We ask that HGTV reconsider this decision.
