I support this petition because I watch Simply Quilts every morning and have developed the love of quilting through this program. My mother, who's last efforts were the church quilting circle just passed away. I'm so inspired by this show to continue with this heritage. Please keep the new episodes coming.

Her show for me has taught me so much and made my quilting better, plus has expanded my quilting horizons and helped me try new and different things. Her show during the day for me is a break from my hectic day. It will be a sad day in the quilting community if you don't keep this wonderful quilting show.

The only two shows I watch on HGTV are Simply Quilts and the Carol Duvall Show. If you drop SQ I will be much less likely to even watch HGTV. Please don't cancel SQ.

I have watched this program for years and it has been my tutor in quilting. Whenever I had a problem in my quilt, the answer seemed to show up in a week or so on Simply Quilts. I used to hand write all of the quilt block instructiions, now I tape the shows. I refresh what I have seen on the reruns, but look forward to seeing the new episodes.

I support this petition.I can't believe you are doing this again.First,it was cutting Simply Quilts down to once a day, then it was cutting any new Carol Duvall's shows and now you are cutting any new Simply Quilt's Shows. You are making very foolish marketing decisions. The people with the money are middle aged people, not the youngsters. I used to watch your shows exclusively, but as much as I love Carol Duvall's, all those reruns make me not care if I miss one. Before, I would watch both avidly since one was new and one was old.Most of your other 1-3 yr. old shows are a waste of my time. I noticed they are marketed toward much younger people (I am 56). When I ask if the 20's-40's people I know watch HGTV (other than those 2 shows), they never watch you.I wonder where you do your research? You will be losing out on thousands of viewers, just as you lost so many viewers because of your craft show cuts. The younger people are working and raising families. They don't have the time to devote to these shows like the middle aged and seniors.

I was eager for my cable company to get HGTV. Once it became available you dropped Sandra Betzina now you plan to drop Simply Quilts. My reason for turning on your channel will be gone. I will also add my signature to a petition to my cable company to drop your channel in favor of a more interesting chanel.

I started watching this program while I was living in Australia....a very lonely American and it was something that I looked forward to each and every day. I now watch it every morning that I can.....and when I can't, I tape it for viewing when I get home from work. I have learned so much from this show and I would hate to see it end. There is still so much to see and do with this show....keep it on the air and going strong. Take off one of your DYI shows instead.....or limit other craft shows.....but don't take this one off the air. Please.
