I support this petition. Simply Quilts is the only show I watch regularly on HGTV, often while quilting. The television is left on your channel, usually until well into the afternoon. Should you cancel this show, I will no longer pay for the higher tier of my cable service. For shame, HGTV, alienating so many loyal viewers.

I support this petition. I have been watching Simply Quilts faithfully for 2 years straight since I found it on HGTV. It is by far one of the best programs offered. Alex Anderson is my favorite host on HGTV. Alex's Simply Quilts show has taught me how to quilt and continues to help me learn all there is to making quilts. You would be doing the public a big dis-service by cancelling this show. Please reconsider your decision....you are making a big mistake and the HDTV cable channel will lose viewers because of your decision.

I cannot tell you how many books, yards of fabric and different threads of have purchased after watching this program. Very inspiring and keeps us quilters on the front line with what products are new and the different quilters who have books printed.

If you are cancelling a quilting show you must not be aware of the fact that quilting is one of the most popular crafts right now! 46 quilt shops with one hour of my home can't be supported if people aren't quilting--and new shops are opening all the time! Just so ya know, I stopped watching pbs when they stopped carrying Quilt In A Day, but I still stay up until 12:30 am to watch it on RFDTV....If you are finding support difficult for your quilt shows, try showing them later in the day...6:00 am Mountain Time is a little early for young quilters who tend to 'burn the midnight oil' to quilt because they have small children...Just some of my thoughts--You'd be crazy to cancel quilting shows! And quilt shows were the only reason I am thinking of subscribing to DIY..oh well, I guess I'll wait to see what happens before I subscribe now!

It is beyond me why a corporation in the business of making money wants to discontinue a program that is so fully supported by those who wish to spend that same money. Simply Quilts is a highly sought after show. Even the reruns are watched repeatedly! Not only should you reconsider your decision to cancel Simply quilts, but it would be to your benefit to air other quilting and needlework programs. Since Carol Duvall is gone also, you are cutting yourself out of a huge market. If customers have no say over the programing you select, then maybe profit and ratings will.

Quilting has become my passion. I only wish there were more programs as good as this one. Cancelling it would be devastitating to the quilting community.

Quilters in the US were none too happy when the afternoon showing of Simply Quilts was cut.....please do not remove the remaining 2.5 hours of Simply Quilts programming from the morning slot.
