Maybe if you kept some of them you wouldn't have to rerun each show five or six times each season until we're sick to death of watching them!

The new episodes of the show continues to inspire quilters with new and innovative ways to make quilts of their own. Without new shows the re-runs of the show become trite for the dedicated viewer. I always learn something new when I watch her program, even if I have been doing a particular method for a while. This program does a terrific job of promoting quilting. I watch a lot of HGTV and it disappoints me that they would take this show off the air. Not everyone can get DIY from their cable company. There is enough garbage on TV it is a shame to take this wonderful program off the air. Quilters help keep our economy going with all the fabric and books and patterns and gadgets we have to buy. We are spending thousands of dollars on quilting machines. Alex does a great job of encouraging someone new to quilting to get started. Please reconsider your decision to take this show off the air. Since I am trying to get my daughter ready for school each morning while the show is running from 6:30 am to 7:00 am, I still manage to watch bits and pieces of the show. I am an advanced quilter but I still learn new ideas and have even presented them to people when I travel to different countries. You killed Sew Perfect, now Simply Quilts. It seems anything to do with sewing is doomed on your network. Do you not realize how BIG quilting is in this country. This is one of the few shows I watch on HGTV. This show is great, especially for those quilters who do not have access to classes. What a shame to take that away from these people. It is also a great information show for quilters who have lessons available to them; not to mention, we can see artist's techniques to help us decide which classes to take at quilt shows! I strongly support this petition. As a quilt shop owner I get daily requests and input from people who have watched Simply Quilts. New shows are needed for inspiration and educational purposes. There are so many viewers that have learned to quilt from this show. Why fix what isn't broken.

I watch Simply quilts on HGTV daily. Alex Anderson does a great job of presenting new and old ideas in fabric art. I often tune in early and stick around afterward to catch other shows, but Simply quilts is what brings me to HGTV. You will definately lose me as dedicated viewer id you discontinue Simply Quilts.
