If we know we are not going to be home to watch it, we make sure we tape it. Alex Anderson has taught us so many new and wonderful techniques that we have adopted in our own quilting. Please reconsider your decision to cancel this show.

I watch Simply Quilts every morning (no small thing, since it airs in this market at 6:30 a.m.). Without this program, I will have no reason to subscribe to HGTV.

Please, please don't take Simply Quilts off the air, I love the shows and learn alot. Because of Simply Quilts, I organized a Outdoor Quilt festival last October and recently won the 2005 Special Achievement by a Individual from my job. It feels wonderful and quilts are very responsible.Thank You

I support this petition. I love this show. In recent years I have not been able to see it as ften as I like because HGTV keeps moving the time around and cut it back to one episode a day. I am tired of all the reality decorating shows. I have learned so much from simply quilts and visit the web site often. HGTV put an episode in the evening along with other craft shows so those of us that work can view it. Cleaning and decorating are getting to be redundant. I want to know what is happening in the quilting world.

Since that time I have made 4 quilts, working on the 5th, and are making fabric bowls as gifts. i am also introducing my 2 grandchildren to the joys and at=rt of quilting. Quilting is BIG business in the US. HGTV's programming lacks a diversity of topics -- the majority of the programming centers around either decorating one's house or fixing one's home up to sell or flip. This is a show that is also helpful for those of us who can't get out alot and I'm sure there are alot of shut-ins who enojy shows like this to educate themselves on their hobbies. When I go to my favorite fabric store for quilt fabric Simply Quilts is always a topic of conversation. It is extrememly informative. Also, for those of us who live in small towns it is the only source of advanced and different quilting techniques. Please think twice about this. It is only 1/2 hour out of your prgram schedule
