I support this petition. Please do not drop Simply Quilts. It is the only show of its kind on any network. Public Television is not available to me. I agree that we do not need any more gardening, redecorating, remodeling, landscaping type shows. There are plenty. I get up every morning at 4:30 AM to watch (live in Alaska and only get the East coast feed). It is the only show worth getting up for.

I support this petition. As a quilter it's un-thinkable that new shows of Simple Quilts would be canceled. This is a huge part of America's Rural heritage. Shame on HGTV. Move to RFD with Eleanor Burns, RFD-TV would surely welcome Alex Anderson & her shows.

I support this petition. Ahhh! Once again, Americans are going to be deprived of a wholesome, educational program! Could it be that if Alex agreed to do the show in a clingy, low-cut blouse, naval piercing, and a nose ring, HGTV would continue the program? People wonder WHY our society is drawn to viewing murder, violence, homosexuality, and sexually explicit programs. It's bad enough that HGTV shows numerous house/room makeovers of same sex, and unmarried couples. Eliminate the only quilting program? Alex Anderson's SIMPLY QUILTS educates viewers in a friendly, non-offensive manner. Here is a program that teaches not only the ever-growing art of quilting, but harmony among quilters from different races, cultural and religious backgrounds. Shame on HGTV!

I support this petition. As the number of women over 60 reaches retirement they will turn to quilting and related areas. Simply Quilts is the only program on TV that can meet their need. As a group, we older women are begining to interest marketers. We are spenders and HGTV is striking us off program by program.
