I support this petition. The best quilting show on TV by a long shot, the only one that I take the time to watch. Great balance of traditional vs. contemporary, how-to vs. look-and-enjoy.
I support this petition. I'm afraid you will lose quite a bit of your audience when you remove this show. The quilting business is a multi-million dollar business. I know there are many who will have no reason to turn on HGTV without this show. I'm one of them. All those young, flip, fix-it-up shows have saturated your network and I don't see a need for any more of them. The few craft shows are tacky at best! There are over 20 million quilters in this country at this time. They are of all ages and demographics and they spend a LOT of money on their craft. Most of us would love to see you increase "Simply Quilts" to an hour, as well as add weekends. I'm sure there are other quilt related programs you could include also.

I support this petition. This is a wonderful series of programs. HGTV should be encouraged by the fact that a wide variety of people can glean information from your channel, NOT just people who want to (or can afford) remodel a home.

I would not have the ability, knowledge, or skills required for quilting if it were not for Simply Quilts and Alex Anderson. To me she is the BEST! Please reconsider the cancellation of new programming for 2006.

There is a big comeback in this country of quilting the is a craft that live in the country for 100s of years now is not the time to stop. Since Sew Perfect & Sew Much More, the only show about sewing was Simply Quilts. My friends & I will no longer feel the need to watch HGTV. You can only do so many re-modeling shows, etc. Please bring Simply Quilts back.

Simply Quilts is the reason I paid extra on cable to get HGTV - althou many programs are interesting, this is the only show I make an effort to watch everyday - it is informative, there are many subjects that has not been covered yet, this is one show that helps to bring quilters together - other shows offered are interesting but you can only redo your home just so often, but quilts are endless, they are comfort, and they help many people who are in need, the lastest example of this is the hurricane relief, just imagine the number of quilters who gave to it, now multiply that number by 1000's and will be begin to see the number of viewers you are letting down by stopping simply quilts, please reconsister, mya
