I support this petition. I have watched this show from the beginning and have learned a great deal. Thousands and thousands of people are quilting today. To stop this show in light of that is not in HGTV's or its viewer's best interests. It is simply not a smart business decision.
I support this petition. While I was in bed during my chemo this program gave me a reason to get better, get up and quilt. I now spend a lot of my time making quilts for poor children and those in hospitals.
I support this petition. I enjoy watching and learning about new things in the industry. It is on at 6:30 AM at my house and most of the time I get up for it.
HGTV changed programming to mostly decorating programs.That move cost a loss of thousands of viewers. We need more sewing and crafting programs. One of the very best is Simply Quilts. Take it off and you will lose even more viewers. You might even consider adding Quilt in a Day to your lineup. We sewer/quilters would love it.
It's so hard to understand why HGTV wants to stop this show. Withoout this show and Alex, I would have never started quilting. I have learned so much from watching it. I had to go through chemo for breast cancer, could not quilt, but Simply Quilts kept my interest and will going. Please reconsider your decision. I personally wish it was an hour long show.

This is the only show on HGTV that meets this particular target audience. Often times, it is the only quilting show in many communities. Certainly, HGTV can be more than just home improvement and landscaping. Please keep this show and provide a well rounded product to your customers. Be the leader that you originally set out to be.
I support this petition fully. With all the other nutty programs (Yummy Mummy) that are being introduced, its very frustrating that a show that has such a large following is being cancelled. With the continued and growing interest in quilting, it would be criminal to remove this show. HGTV needs to remember that there are other interests in life than home decorating. I watch a large variety of shows that are aired, but my favorite, hands down, is Simply Quilts. Please reconsider your decision to cancel this program.

I support this petition. The value of Alex's input over the years is immeasurable. She is the perfect advocate for the quilting industry. Currently her program is the only one in my area. She has done more to keep the art of quilting alive and growing than any other in the past few years. Pleas let her continue.

I support this petition. This is the best quilting variety show available and it NEEDS to stay on TV!! Plus, the producers need to make tapes available of previous shows for reference. Quilting has seen a new surge of interest, so it makes no sense to cancel this show!
I tape this show every single day before running off to work. It is my relaxing time when I get home. Surprisingly, I have seen many of the shows 2 times or more. Please continue to add more shows each year. The world of quilting information is changing daily!

I support this petition. HGTV has shown no loyalty to it's viewers who want quality crafting show. HGTV seems only interested in promoting decorating shows. How many ways can one decorate their homes. I for one am sick to death of decorating shows. Simply Quilts and Carol Duval are the only shows I watch on your station. I just can't endure all that decorating. The world is made for other things, but HGTV seems to be single minded. I used to love it when you would have a variety of programming to choose from. If you take off Simply Quilts, I'm out of here.

I watch this show daily and in the process have stumbled across other HGTV shows that are now part of my viewing. Cancellation would be bad for all the shows on your network!

HGTV needs Simply Quilts!
I support this petition. Simply put, Simply Quilts is an excellent show that allows quilters of all levels to continue to learn and improve their skills. It also enables us, the quilters themselves, to see and become familiar with the quilting teachers that are 'out there', traveling and teaching new techniques. It is extremely helpful to see a new technique demonstrated instead of just reading about it in a book. Thank you for keeping Simply Quilts on the air. Linda McCabe
I support this petition. We don't need yet another decorating show, or a show that shows us things we could never afford anyway. Quilters spend a lot of money on their passion, and they are very loyal. You are alienating a large segment of the population by cancelling Simply Quilts.

What a black day it will be when my favorite show is no longer on HGTV!!! As a quilter and a quilting teacher, I have relied on Simply Quilts to keep me abreast of all the newest innovations in quilting. It has been a wonderful show: inspirational and informative as well as educational. Why on earth would you cancel the world's most popular quilting show?! Simply Quilts is the reason I began watching HGTV; your cancelling it may be the reason I STOP watching HGTV.

I can't believe this show is being cancelled! I support this petition, most certainly in support of rural viewers. I have the option of many quilt stores, an availibility not for many quilters.
