I watch HGTV mostly for Simply Quilts and Carol Duvall. Carol has already been cancelled, if you cancel Simply Quilts I will have very little reason to watch your station.

It is disappointing to hear of HGTV's plan to air reruns rather than new episodes of Simply Quilts. Alex Anderson and her guests offer more than the how-tos of quilting; they encourage the imagination and creativity of viewers and inspire many toward new adventures in quilting. Freshness comes from new episodes not the same-old, same-old of reruns. I hope HGTV will reconsider its "Simply Quilts Reruns Show" plan.

I support this petition. Simply Quilts is one of the few totally quilting shows that are left on the air. In past years many others have been cancelled. They have been sorely missed. While shows like Sewing With Nancy are great, many of us sewers aren't into sewing clothing and such. Quilting has enjoyed a huge resurgance in popularity over the past several years and shows like Simply Quilts were/are a great inspiration to get budding quilters blooming. Please don't take away the last of a great bunch of very instructional, even inspirational shows. Many veiwers, like myself, started out watching HGTV just for Simply Quilts and shows like Carol Duvall's crafting show. I know that Carol's show has already been dropped. I'm afraid without these two great shows I may not have a reason to again tune into HGTV.

Why Simply Quilts? Many people have already pointed out the plethora of decorating programs on HGTV, which is overkill. Additionally, you have Carol Duval on several times per day. How many times per day can one stand to watch making beads and trinkets out of polymer clay? Quilting is a billion dollar industry and I will stop watching HGTV if Simply Quilts is cancelled. I will be passing along this website to my small quilt group, many of whom watch Simply Quilts. Also, my quilt guild, which is 500 plus people will be directed to follow suit.
I support this petition. Simply Quilts is the only morning show I watch. It is set to tape, so if I miss it, I can watch later. The other HGTV shows seem to be reruns so I quite watching them.
