This is an excellent quilting show. I have learned a great deal from watching. You might have more viewers if you offered it on a different time of day on the West Coast.

If Simply Quilts is having low viewer issues, HGTV should consider moving it back to reasonable time slots - on the west coast, it comes on at 8:30am which is an impossible time (women are either on their way to work or dropping kids off at school). Simply Quilts used to be shown at 6:30am, which made it possible to watch. Now, the only way to see it on the west coast is if you have TiVo or DVR.

I hope other basic cable networks are reading this petition. Maybe they will get rid of Jerry Springer or Maury or some of these ridiculous courtroom shows and put a top quality quilting show with Alex Anderson in their place.

There are very few programs on HGTV that I feel are worth recording. That said, the one at the very top of the list to record and review time and time again is Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson. It is a must see and is one of the most worthwhile programs for women today. Please reconsider your plans to cancel this show.

There are some people who quilt and are home bounds who watch religiously. There are not many show on TV that show quilting.
I support this petition. I have been disappointed with the lack of quilting and sewing programs on TV. If HGTV discontinues Simply Quilts it will be a great loss to quilters and those who love quilts. Most of the time I am in a group of quilters I hear the question, "Did you see ___(this or that) on Simply quilts?" I tape it if I'm going to be gone while it airs. There are more than enough remodel, redo programs on HGTV, TLC, Discovery, etc. Please keep Simply Quilts on the air.

Canceling this show would end the most inspirational and educational quilt shows on TV. And it is the only reason I continue to pay expensive cable bills.
I support this petition. I wake up at 5:30am Mon-Fri just to watch Simply Quilts. You have every other kind of craft show imaginable. This is the only quilting show on HGTV. You cancelled my other favorite show, The Carol Duval Show. When they are gone, so am I.

Simply Quilts is not just a show to watch on tv, it is an educational avenue for quilters to truly learn from. There are very few quilting shows on, and Simply Quilts is the best instructional quilting show that I have seen. For some quilters Simply Quilts is the only way they are able to recieve quilting instruction because of location or finances or other reasons. Please do not cancel this wonderful show that so many people are enriched by every single day. I look forward to viewing new shows next season.

I support this petition. I waited for several years to get HGTV. Now that I do, I start my day with it. It was the "thing" that got my sister into quilting and we are always calling across the U.S. to discuss the new shows.
Please understand how much this program means to so many of us and how it keeps us all up to date on the newest in the craft.

This a very informative show. I enjoy seeing new techniques from quilt teachers. This is the only quilt show I can get except for the occassional PBS shows.

I support this petition. I do not understand your decision to cancel Simply Quilts. I was very disappointed when you cancelled the afternoon showing. That was nothing compared to this decision. My guess is that you are going to replace it with yet another decorating show. You already have more decorating shows than a body can use - don't wipe out our ONE quilting show you provide.

Simply Quilts keeps us connected to new trends in quilting and showcases fellow quilters from around the world.
