I was very disappointed to hear that this program is not going to be aired on HGTV any more. I feel that Simply Quilts is an important show that represents the rich hertiage of our country. I wish that you would reconsider your decision.

I support this petition. I tape this show DAILY and have been a faithful viewer for more than 3 years! PLEASE DO NOT STOP PRODUCTION, or cancel the show -- I often will watch what comes on before and after the show, but without Simply Quilts as the focal point I won't be tuning in.

Alex has had guests from all over the world. Doesn't that tell the execs at HGTV that this show is watched the would over. How could you even think of canceling such a popular and well received program? If it's room that HGTV needs, cancel anything but not Simply Quilts. Good programing is hard to find. I support this petition. Please don't cancel Simply Quilts!!!! This one of the few quilt shows that are available to watch and the only one daily. HGTV has added some interesting new shows on different crafts, which is great. BUT do not drop the only one you have on quilting. For someone who's interest is in sewing that not going to leave much for us to watch.

I support this petition. This is a very important program. This is my very favorite program on HGTV. I set my alarm every morning for 5:30 a.m. just to watch the program. Now that is devotion. Why don't you guys listen to us women for a change. All the decorating programs are getting VERY BORING.
This is something we can do with out a man. It is our way to express ourselves and to teach our daughters and friends. PLEASE DON'T CANCEL SIMPLY QUILTS!! We love Alex.

I support this petition. It might interest HGTV execs. to know that there are several millions of dollars (expendable income) spent annually by millions of quilters all over the world. Quilting is being taught in schools again-and imparting a sense of self-worth in children. Adults benefit as well. It is a well-established fact that people who quilt (or sew at all) experience lower blood pressure. Quilting draws people together something the world could use more of. Please reconsider your decision to eliminate this informative, entertaining feature. Without it, HGTV holds no appeal to this household. Thank you.

I watched soap operas for 25 years, and stopped taping them because Simply Quilts changed its air time. I tape it every week day, and watch the tape the minute I get home from work. I have new quilting skills that I learned by watching episodes of Simply Quilts. PLEASE don't cancel Simply Quilts!

I would encourage you to do a bit of research in the magnitude of the quilting interest. This is a growing interest and the women and MEN that are interest in this art form are the spending public. Please list to your viewing public.
I have started my day with Simply Quilts for 9 1/2 years. If it's not on live, I watch a tape. It is my inspiration and my connection to the big wide world of quilts, both traditional and innovative. I think there is enough content out there to support it indefinitely. If it works, don't fix it!

Working in a quilt shop, I find we recieve calls nearly every day from someone asking about something they saw on Simply Quilts. I cannot believe HGTV does not understand how much interest there is in this program.
