I support this petition. This is one of the main reasons we have direct tv. I love the quilting show by Alex Anderson. We need her show to stay on the air with lots of new things by her, It would be great if you took some of the other shows off and put more quilting shows on.

Most of the craft shows available do not promote the on- going traditions that many of our ancestors used. To stop presenting the art of quilting is to allow for the neglect of our history. Please reconsider keeping Simply Quilts in your lineup.

I support this petition. If you do not realize how big quilting you should have been at the first quilt international show in Chicago two years ago. The convention center was overwhelmed with all the people. We all enjoy Alex Anderson and do not want to see reruns all the time. Please reconsider your decision.
I REALLY support this petition. I tape this show every day and support the advertisers that advertise during the show. It keeps me tuned into HGTV regularly. It is the ONLY quilt show I can get in my area. Please, please, please continue Simply Quilts.
I support this petition. I don't understand why you would cancel this show with the resurgence of quilting in the recent past. My only other source for this type of programming is PBS. It amazes me that you would allow network television to be "one-step-ahead" of satellite.

I support this petition. I was upset when you took the second daily showing off the air and voiced my opinion then. Now you are taking the only quilting and needlework show you have off the air also. I've heard that you are also cancelling Carol Duvall's show. Not everyone has the need or desire to redecorate a room with thousands of dollars of furniture, etc. While I understand that your sponsors of big ticket items bring in more revenue for you than sponsors of a quilting or crafting show, you MUST know that quilting is the passion of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people nationwide. You will lose the loyalty of these viewers and we will go elsewhere for our creative fix.
Please keep Simply Quilts. I tape Simply Quilts and run the tape during the day in my quilt shop, Patch As Patch Can. A lot of my customer watch Simply Quilts and come in asking for the product that was aired. Simply Quilts has helped with my sales but even aside frim that, I personally learned a lot from the show that has helped with my teaching quilting classes. Please save the show.

I support this petition. There is very little else on HGTV worth watching. I start every weekday watching Simply Quilts and frequently leave HGTV as the selected channel for the next couple of hours. Without Simply Quilts I will have no reason to turn on HGTV. YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER DESIGNER SHOW!!

Simply Quilts is unique on television. There are not many shows which feature sewing or quilting, and some of the others I've seen are pretty lame. Alex Anderson is a great host, and I hope that you'll let her continue the wonderful contributions she makes to the many, MANY people who love quilts and quilting.
