Simply Quilts is simply the best produced program on tv about quiltmaking. Those who are fotunate enough to get this show from their cable providers will surely miss these programs. So many new techniques and quiting experts are emerging daily and it would be a shame not to have Ms. Anderson continue her great work in promoting and teaching the art of quilting. I
I support this petition. Quilting is a multi-billion dollar business in the US. Most quilters do not have access to quilting instruction in their area. Simply Quilts is their lifeline to continuing this American art form.

I would never be where I am today in quilting without the Simply Quilts show. It was always fun to see and learn from popular quilters. It's the only one I've ever been able to get here and without it there would be a great big gap in my TV watching.

I support this petition. PLEASE do not cancel Simply Quilts. Alex and her guests area wealth of information not available anywhere else for the beginner and advanced quilter. It is a perfect place for those not able to attend classes any other way to learn new or old techniques... especially the newbies who may be too intimidated to go to a shop or quilt show to learn the even the basic techinques. If Alex needs a break (we all do) go ahead and show re-runs next year, but PLEASE don't eleminate this invaluable resource that so many people depend on. It will truly be like losing a best friend.

I support this petition. I have chosen to go with a more expensive cable company in order to have HGTV. My main reason is to watch Simply Quilts. I was disappointed when sceduling went from twice to once a day. I will have no need to pay more for cable without Simply Quilts.

I *strongly* support this petition. This is one of the few quality quilting shows on the air now. There's something for beginners as well as tips that more experienced quilters can use. I hope HGTV and the *SPONSORS* will reconsider.
I support this petition. This is the show where I get 95% of my quilting inspiration and knowledge. I change my schedule to watch and if nessecary I will tape it as to not miss it. Even my infant son watches with me - staring at the screen while the show is on and playing during commercials - that says a lot

This is a FABULOUS show...there is something for ALL quilters: traditional, art quilters, beginners and those who have been quilting for years. I have gotten bored with all the decorating shows that HGTV airs. I have NEVER been been bored with Simply Quilts, even watching the repeats is beneficial.

Though this does not air at a convienct time for me I still enjoy the program very much and enjoy watching the sessions that I have taped. There are not many sewing/quilting shows on (in my area they are all on at 5:00am Saturday). I guess we are not a very respected group.

I support this petition. I believe you should be adding new quilting programs instead of cancelling any. Simply Quilts is the only program that introduces quilt designers to us. Except for Simply Quilts, I would have never known who Mary Lou Weidman was. She is now my favorite designer and I have taken a class from her.If you cancel the show you are not only doing a disservice to us but also the designers!
I watch Simply quilts and tape it so I can go back over the episodes since there is usually so much to see and learn. Please don't cancel this show. It's my favorite.
