I support this petition. This is really the only show that I watch on HGTV. I have learned many new quilting tips from this show and would hate to see it go!
I support this petition. This is the best quilting program on TV. There is a large audience out there for quilting shows and you will lose viewers of other programs as well if you cancel this show. Everyone needs variety, not just decorating and landscaping.

I can't believe HGTV is canceling this show. There is a real need for quilting shows like Simply Quilts and Alex is a wonderful host and fellow quilter. I support this petition. Do you remember the decision in the '60's to cancel the original Star Trek, which was prevented by loyal viewers writing in to protest? Star Trek proved to have wonderful staying power. (I wonder how the originator of the "cancel Star Trek" idea feels about it now?)Loyal fans stay with a good thing. Quilters are a niche audience that spends freely on its hobby, and as Marty Walla points out, quilting is a repeated activity rather than a once or twice in a lifetime event. If the decision to cancel was a way of exploring the market for the show, you should be getting some useful information in response to it.
I support this petition. I record this program every day while I am at work so that I can watch it in the evening, along with my husband who is a beginning quilter. Quilt in a Day was also cancelled (by another network). Simply Quilts is all we have left and it is an excellent program to learn from and obtain new ideas. Please do not cancel this show!
