Please so not cancel this show. I make my living quilting quilts. The more people who watch Simply Quilts, the more quilts I have to quilt. If you cancel Simply Quilts, you will put me out of business. Again, Please so not cancel this show.
I support this petition. Simply Quilts! is the top favourite among quilting shows and Alex Anderson is a beloved quilt personality. Quilters spend a fortune in North America each year, so if money is the only criteria, that alone is an indication. If popularity is the criteria, Simply Quilts is one of the best quilt shows on TV.
I support this petition. In fact, should Simply Quilts no longer appear on HGTV I would have little reason to tune in. In the past I could have left HGTV on all day, but over the last few years I find little of interest in the decorating programing. Please support those of us that still like to create objects by hand and of lasting value. Additionally, Alex Anderson's show is of the highest quality and presents information for quilters of all interests and skill levels. She provides a valuable service to the quilting community and is our best ambassador for our craft.

Can't believe HGTV would forget so many of it's supporters. It's bad enough the you took Sandra Betzina off a few years ago. Seems the sewing and quilting population means nothing to the channel. Simply Quilts is a must tape and must watch show for so many of us. There are lots of younger quilters as well...just look at the selection of fabrics available. I support this petition.

I support this petition. HGTV has become a vast wasteland of "home improvement" and room redecorating shows. Bit by bit HGTV has been whittling away the shows that support handcrafters, such as sewers, quilters or knitters. Simply Quilts and Carol Duval (no longer in production) are the last such shows you can see on HGTV. When they are gone, so will I be.

I support this petition. Quilters generate billions in sales each year, Alex's show is first quality introducing quilters to so many new things, and teachers. If you take this show off the air I will refuse to watch HGTV. It is singularly one of the best quality shows on television today. Who makes these ridiculous decisons and subjects us to junk on television? I live in Dubai, UAE and tape the shows to bring to the quilters here, they also love it. My daughter tapes them for me at home. I spend my precious time at home setting up my vcr to get the shows taped......don't deny quilters the one quality show on HGTV.

I support this petition. SQ is my favorite show - beings I'm on the west coast but have and East coast feed, I get up at 5:30 am just to watch. Please keep it on the air!
I support this petition. This is the only show I watch on HGTV, after all just how many decorating shows (most of which are continuous reruns) can a person watch. Quilters have imagination and design-abilities too. The only difference is the medium with which we use to create our decorations --fabric vs paint. First you removed Carol Duvall and took away our creative outlet and now you are taking Simply quilts --- to that I say "Goodbye HGTV" if I am not worth your time, you are not worth mine
I support this petition. Please don't discontinue new filming of Alex Anderson's Simply Quilts Show. This would be a great disservice to the quilting community who have been loyal supporters of this show, and HGTV in particular.
I support this petition. I have recently retired and been able to watch this show every day -- cannot believe that you would cancel it considering you show no other quilting or sewing shows. Are you not aware of the millions of consumer dollars that are spent on quilting in this country alone? Or of the art quilt movement? Or of the success of the museum showings of "The Quilts of Gees Bend." Someone in your development department is clearly out of touch with a ever-growing part of the population. Keep "Simply Quilts" and consider adding other shows of this type and quality. Thank you.
I support this petition. With so few quilting programs available in Alaska it would be a shame to lose this one. We have only PBS for quilting if HGTV decides to pull the plug. The 2 programs provided on PBS are the same reruns. Simply Quilts provides a wide variety of quilting lessons combined with fresh new techniques and styles.
