Reruns are good up to a point but there is so much new and exciting in the quilting world. And let
s face it, when you have seen a show more than once or twice it looses it's allure and you change channels. Besides there are only so many home decorating shows you can watch.

I start my day, every weekday morning with Simply Quilts. I love it when there is a new episode, but I enjoy the reruns also. Alex Anderson is a part of my morning. Please keep Alex on the air. Please keep the new episodes coming.

I support this petition. I'm deeply disappointed that network executives don't seem to realise or care how widespread an interest quilting is in this country. I've just become a Nielsen viewer and was looking forward to supporting the show with my viewing statistics. Now I can't decide whether to watch it to boost quilt show ratings or not watch it to protest the cancellation and reruns.

I support this petition. Don't you dare. In So Calif our PBS has taken off all the sewing shows. I tape and a watch every time I have a day off!!! She has such a good variety. Lots of us ladies still sew, quilt & machine embroider in our past time. She always has all the news and greatest products that are out in the industry. KEEP HER ON !!!! This is one of the Great Quilt Shows on TV !!!
I support this petition. I really think it is sad that the few quilt related programs are in jeopardy of being removed. It is at a difficult time and yet I have made the effort to watch Simply Quilts for years. Pelase reconsider uor decision.
Simply Quilts has made such a huge difference for me. It is the only quilting show I've seen on television and through it I have gained so much information, techinique skills, inspiration, and ideas. I am incredibly disappointed to hear that it has been cancelled. Please rethink this decision!!!
I support this petition. Simply Quilts is one of the few quilting shows that I am able to access in my viewing area. I was SO disappointed to find out that this great program was being canceled. I have learned so much from Alex Anderson and the great quilt teachers who have been on her show throughout the years. The quilting industry has grown by leaps and bounds since 1976 when people re-discovered this art form and the intense interest in quiltmaking has continued to grow and spread throughout the world. Please reconsider taking away this creative outlet for people like myself who love to quilt and who have learned new methods of quiltmaking from watching Simply Quilts.

I support this petition. This is one of the best produced quilting shows on the air. The only other show I watch is Quilt in a Day. Simply Quilts exposes the viewers to inovative and creative people in the quilting industry. Without it many would not be recognized. On my satelite, the show comes on at 5:30 am. I set my clock every weekday to get up this early even thought I do not have to be up for at least another hour. It is a great way to start the morning. I start the day with creativity instead of the violence and cruelty that encompasses the news each morning. My students appreciate a teacher that comes to the classroom ready to inspire as opposed to a teacher that is simply exhausted from the sheer amount of negativity. In addition, I have enthusiastically supported the sponsors and guests of the show, often times going to the HGTV website to purchase products. If it weren't for Simply Quilts I would not be watching HGTV and therefore I would not be exposed to the other shows on the channel. Please do not cancel the show, it more than just a TV show. It is a catalist to creativity and inspiration that expands beyond quilting and quilters. I thank you in advance for reconsidering the cancellation of Simply Quilts.

I support this petition.HGTV is one station I can always count on to have good quality shows for my interests,like quilting, decorating,hobbies, traveling, etc. There are certainly enough shows for men on hunting and sports related themes. Please keep Simply Quilts! You have more viewers out there than you realize who enjoy these quality shows. We need more like this NOT fewer!!!

I support this petition. I set my alarm every night, Monday-Friday, so I can watch Simply Quilts. It is one of the bright spots of each day for me. It is a wonderful program and Alex Anderson is the perfect host. If you need space for new shows, please take some of the home decorating programs off. HGTV needs more programs like Simply Quilts.
I support this petition. Simply Quilts has made the art of quilting what it is today. The quilters in my town are faithful watchers and we BUY products, books and fabrics by the boatload. If they are having trouble getting advertisers then the salesguys are clueless.
