I love this show!! Please do not cancel it. Alex Anderson is wonderful. I am really tired of seeing "makeover" shows. It is truly the ONLY show on HGTV that I care to watch anymore. Every show they offer now, are carbon copies of each other..and, please, no more programs on redoing your room on a "dime"!! I would much rather sit down to Alex with a warm cup of coffee & experience all the new and exciting things the quilting industry has to offer. Plus, I love to learn about the history of quilting and how the women before us, used their imaginations and resources to design and sew beautiful quilts. What a loss...HGTV needs to re-examine their programming.. or there may not be an HGTV in the future!
I support this petition. I cannot take an entire channel of decorating shows! You have cancelled Carol Duvall and now this. The new craft shows are hard to watch with the weird camera work and no actual instructions.

It is so disappointing that those making the decisions have lost touch with the average viewer of Simply Quilts. I support this petition. I cannot believe that your executives would make such a decision. There was obviously no one who compared the attendance of the Houston quilt show, the Paducah show, the Nashville show, the Chicago show, the Road to California, and the list goes on and on, to that of any home decorating show.
I support this petition. I watch every single show and have many on tape. It's incomprehensible to me that HGTV has only 1 needlework show on its schedule, and you are going to cancel that! Not everyone is in a position to spend thousands redoing a room in their home or their yard. Not everyone is a scrapbooker. Please remember those of us who do needlework.

I support this petition. I am writing to implore you not to cancel “Simply Quilts”. It is my favorite show on television and has been helping me to hone my quilting skills for years. Alex Anderson is a wonderful host whose guests inspire me to challenge myself, and I am the quilter I am today because of this show. Her guests present a wide variety of quilting ideas, from traditional to the most contemporary, and I learn something new from each show. Please do not cancel this wonderful show. You will have many disappointed quilters out there if you do.
I support this petition. HGTV has canceled every other quilting and sewing show on their station. I can't afford to have access to DIY, so HGTV is one of my only resources for quilting. This is a great show for all quilters and has an excellent and knowledgeable host.

I support this petition. Quilting is big business. Largest convention held yearly at the Houston convention center is Quilt Market/Quilt Fest, >55,000 in 2005. This is our favorite quilting show on TV.

I can't believe that Simply quilts is being dropped. Or at the very least just not updated. The show is one of the shows for quilting that helps keep seasoned quilters as well as new quilters informed of new techniques and tried and true ones. I tape it as well as watch it in real time.
I support this petition. Please do not discontinue Simply Quilts. I tape it 5 days a week. At least once a week I use the web site to get directions or more information on a featured quilt or technique. When I went to the quilt store to start my first project, "Simply Quilts" was the ONLY show mentioned as a resource.
Is this a joke?? Are you NUTS!! I support this petition and plead with you to not discontinue Simply Quilts. The ONLY reason I have a satilite dish is because of Simply Quilts. I record it every day when I'm not at home. If you want to elimate something Get rid of Carol DuVall!! I can't stand her on once - let alone twice!!
I support this petition. Simply is a quality show and I watch it everyday, even the reruns. Drop some of the tastless decorating shows and keep Simply Quilts.
What is WRONG with you people??? Leave Simply Quilts alone. You have already done away with everything except teenie-boppers tastless decorating shows and junk with multiple camera angles which make the viewer nauseous! I'm about ready to CXX the cable!
