I support this petition. I wish there was some way to let HGTV know how many thousands of quilters watch (or tape) this show every day. The few of us who are signing this petition are only the "tip of the iceberg" as far as the TRUE number of viewers.

I support this petition. The episodes give very clear directives, are wonderful, inspiring and present the latest techniques that I might not otherwise have an opportunity to learn. I often tape the shows to save them for future reference. Please continue ti broadcast Simply Quilts and please continue to create new episodes. I am amazed that you could consider ending Simply Quilts. I watch every day, and not only do I love Simply Quilts, but I see the promos for the entire HGTV line-up, which includes other shows that I like and watch.

I support this petition. This is the only show that I watch religiously on HGTV. My husband even watches the show with me over a cup of coffee before I go to work everyday. I guess HGTV does not know how many quilters watch this show everyday. It would be a shame to cancel one of the best quilting shows that is on TV today. I support this petition. Take away Simply quilts and you may as well take away HGTV from my house. It's the only daytime program I watch on HGTV. Whenever I'm unable to physically watch it, I will tape it to be sure I don't miss it. Get rid of something else (namely Candace Olsen's or Carol Duval's show) but keep Simply Quilts. You might even add a regular sewing program - which you took away some time back.

I support this petition. As a quilt shop manager, I know that many of my customers watch this show on a regualr basis, and many tape the show because of its educational value. Some subscribe to HGTV primarily for the quilting shows. If you only show reruns, you will lose your audience.
There are HUNDREDS of decorating/re-doing room shows and just as many re-doing yard shows and only ONE quilting show. I've been wishing for more QUILTING shows for a long time. Not only that, but I see two or three re-runs of some of the other shows during the same day. How about re-running this ONE quilting show at a regular time in the evening for those of us who are at work during the day? By the way, on days when I am at home, I watch your Simply Quilting at 7:30 am and then I watch a different episode at 12:30 pm on DIY. DO NOT CANCEL this show, please!

I support this petition. Quilting is one of the most popular fiber art form. Millions and millions of dollars are spent on quilting each year. I would think it could be very profitable for HGTV by capitalizing on this advertising alone. Simply Quilting provides a diverse subject matter for every level of quilter, not to mention new techniques and products on the market.

What could they possible replace Simply Quilts with? Any type of sewing or quilting program has vanished.
You can only watch so many decorating shows, and some folks, never have the kind of money it takes, to do all the decorating, they encourage you to do.
I never could understand why something as helpful, as Simply Quilts would be replaced, if Ms. Andersen would like some time off, I'm sure that another person, would be just as helpful as she is, even though I think she's pretty great.
The PBS has a limited schedule of quilting shows, but you can count on them, please don't leave us without something!

My husband and I watched two shows last night and I can't wait to try the quilting techniqes that were shown. Quilting is seeing a renaissance so I certainly don't understand why such a wonderful show would be cancelled. Please reconsider.
How could you even consider cancelling this show? It is the best quilting show on TV. The variety of guests and the new skills taught on every episode are wonderfull.
DIY runs this show also. I guess you could let them take over, but why would you want to do that?
Rather than discontinuing the morning show, I'd suggest running an additional episode in the evening for all the people who work during the day. I think you'd be surprised how many more people would watch.

I am not sure what audience HGTV,and sponsors, is trying to reach; I am becoming more sure its not me. First, Sandra Betzina was yanked, then one of the more interesting decorating shows-Room by Room, and now Simply Quilts! The decorating shows you have on are of no intesrest to sewers and quilters and are at best, insipid. You can come up with all the dream houses you want to peddle, but your network is becoming of less interest to me.
I guess I will switch my viewing and spending dollars to my local PBS stations which continues to support viewers like me.
