I support this petition. HGTV what are you thinking! This is a highly educational show and there are no other quilt shows out there like this one. I have learned so much from this show, not to mention the fact that it keeps us in touch with what's new in the industry and up to date with the products out there for us. Quilting is an American art form and Alex Anderson and Simply Quilts plays a large part in keeping this art form alive and growing. Keep this show!

Not only do you need to keep Simply Quilts on, you need to move it to a better time slot. AND run it 2 times a day! Your viewing quilters would love you forever!

I support this petition. Quilting is a $50.2 billion a year industry - and you're going to cancel the best quilting show on tv??? Alex Anderson introduced the quilting world to wonderful teachers and artists, and not only boosted HGTV's ratings, but also got some very talented people national recogniation. I support this petition. The quilting industry as well as individual quilters need the Simply Quilts program for education. For many quilters, there is no other source for such knowledge. If the quilters stop growing in their art and craft, they will lose interest and the industry will wither away. At the present time, there are quilt shops in many small towns as well as in major centers. These depend on an active base of quilters. The consequences of losing the Simply Quilts show will have a deleterious effect on the entire industry. This is to request that new shows continue to be developed and produced. Thank you.

Many books/novels have been written to be read along with the quilts featured in them. I support this petition. I think you are doing a great disservice to thousands of people who tune into this show every morning. I watch it every morning before going to work, it starts my day. There is nothing else on HGTV that interests me. I don't need any more advice on how to decorate or paint my house. I don't need to know what has to be done to sell my house. I don't neet to go on an electronic house hunt. I do appreciate Simply Quilts and Carol Doval even though that show is all reruns. Where are all the advertisers, are they going to keep advertising reruns and not support new programs? It seemed to me that the program had sufficient advertisers to keep it going. Why don't they put some pressure on too.

I support this petition. All educational and historical kudos aside, the bottom line is always economics. What Alex and this show have done for the entire quilting industry is help create a $2 billion enterprise. Doesn't HGTV want any part of that??
PLEASE keep Simply Quilt on HGTV and please add more quilting shows!! We are starved for quilt shows and there are a LOT of us. Can't you get some fabric companies to sponsor the show? We spend LOTS of money, LISTEN TO US!!
I support this petition. I turn on HGTV in the morning to watch SQ, and leave it tuned there all day. If Simply Quilts is not there, I'll leave the TV off. Simply Quilts is the best and most innovative quilting show around, and you will be making an awful mistake if you don't continue to produce new shows. There are plenty of cookie-cutter home-dec shows on TV. We need more programs for people who create things of beauty with their hands, whether it be by quilting, sewing, or other forms of needlework. I support this petition. Please do not stop production. Simply Quilts is a gem of a show. It is so superior to some of the others. Alex Anderson and her guests have inspired me to learn to quilt. I have purchased many patterns designed by Alex's guests. My favorite local quilt shops advertise locally during the time slot, and it helps them build a customer base at an affordable advertising cost. The quilting hobby is wonderful, and this show is a keystone for quilters, and for the show's sponsors. Quilters SPEND ALOT of money. Do not program to the lowest common denominator. Cable was supposed to be able to target different niches to address varied interests. It seems to me Scripps is now to the masses.

I very much support this petition. I watch just about every morning. It's the one time of the day that I can relax for half an hour. This show is what brought me to HGTV in the first place. Simply Quilts is one of your premier shows as far as I'm concerned. Cancelling it is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Please reconsider or this viewer will be far less likely to tune in to any of your other cookie cutter home dec shows.
I support this petition. When you include machines and travel in addition to books and fabric/thread I spend thousands of dollars a year on my quilting. The Simply Quilts show was the reason for most of those purchases. I will tell my cable company when there is no reason left to watch HGTV.

I need Simply Quilts. I live in a rural area with no other things to do. HGTV has dropped so many do it yourself programs and your new programing sucks. I use to watch your chanel 24/7. Now I'm down to watching it only during Carols and Alex's shows. Then I switch stations. Even my husband use to watch the "men's" do it yourself. Now all you have is decorating. As a Canadian viewer I support this petition. This quilting program has been a benefit to not only beginners, but also experienced quilters. It has I'm sure also benefited the sale and production of all quilt related products. It would be a crime to remove this program from production.
