What are you thinking?!? I do not need another "redesign-fix it up-look at my house" show. Simply Quilts is a quality program for fabric art and lends itself to experts and beginners alike. You have an active audience for this show and a one-of-a-kind venue...WHY DUMP IT?!?

I have learned more from this show that I could have ever imagined possible. I still watch the old shows, but I really look forward to the new ones. PLEASE don't cancel Simply Quilts!

This show started me on quilting. The only other quilt show we get here is American Quilter and that is so inferior to Simply Quilts.I support this petition.

I support this petition. I have been quilting for many years and find I learn from the Simply Quilts program as well as am entertained by it. It is on at a rediculously early time slot and I tape it daily and watch every one. In fact, it is the ONLY program I watch on HGTV, so you will be losing a viewer if it is cancelled.

The techniques, the national teachers and the ideas that are generated on Simply Quilts keeps me current with all the new quilting trends. Quilting interest is one the rise - there are even classes for children. I think it is an educational show that should continue to be shown. I have seen some of your decorating shows shown in the morning and repeated the same evening. Why not eliminate one of those??? Please keep simply quilts on the air.

I support this petition. I have been a seamstress for many years, but a quilter after first starting to watch Alex Anderson on Simply Quilts. I know that quilting has become one of the top five hobbies over the past few years due to shows like this. I will no longer be watching any programing on HGTV if this show is cancelled! I am sure that DIY will continue to carry the program and I will pay the extra charge to get it just to continue to watch Simply Quilts. I wish that they would come up with a dedicated channel for quilters!!!

I support this petition. I am just learning Quilting and the show has really helped me learn so many of the basic needs a new quilter requires. I will not be watching any other programs on HGTV, if you cancel this wonderful program. We need more shows like this not only for us adults, but for the generations in front & behind us who enjoy quilting together as friends and family. How often can grandmothers, mothers and children sit down and create something together for the whole family to enjoy and be passed on to others?

People talk about it on several of my online list groups including one in Australia. Quilting is a very popular hobby and there is a dearth of good shows about in on any channel. I support this petition. I am extremely disappointed in the cancellation of Simply Quilts. I believe that HGTV is grossly underestimating the popularity of quilting in the world. I must say that I watch much less HGTV these days than I used to. The quality of their programing has deteriorated. I think what we need is a Quilting Channel much like the golf channel or the many other channels specifically for one interest or another. Thankfully we still have PBS and gee it is still free. I recently took a break from my satelite tv as we were disgusted with the low quality programs and the excessive commercials. We didn't miss it too much but have recently restarted it. If the loss of good shows like Simply Quilts continues I may just cancel it for ever!!!

I support this petition. Simply Quilts is not only a quilt show but a show about a dying art. To many of todays young people have no idea what "hand crafted" means. Simply Quilts teaches pride in your work and creation.I have been sewing for over 40 years and quilting for over 20, and I still learn new techniques from Alex and her guests. Please continue with new episodes.

I have had my fill of remodeling shows and will discontinue veiwing your HGTV network if this comes to pass. I will also by e-mail, word of mouth and any other means I have contact everyone I know and tell them to boycott your network. Shame on you for not considering the needs of the quilters in your audience. This is a quaity program and it would be nice if it was carried more than once a day. I cannot always view during the morning hours. If there are other sewing/quilting broadcasts you could add to your probramming, you should consider doing this.

There isn't enough programs having to do with the fiber arts including quilting on your network. I like your network, but there are so many decorating programs there should be room for them.
