I support this petition. I own a retail quilt related store and also design patterns for the quilt industry. Alex Anderson has a unique ability to reach younger sewer's - many of which may cross over from some of your other decorating programs. Rather than cancel the show, why not add a component to the show that demonstrates how quilts can fit in with the huge home decorating/do it yourself trend.

Please let us continue to "grow" a part of our heritage of quilting and expose as many to it as possible. Us older quilters are always seeking new ways to accomplish older historical patterns and projects. HGTV don't let us down! Save New Alex shows! Reconsider!

Quilting is getting more and more popular. People are always coming into our store and asking about quilts "I saw on the Alex Anderson show".
I support this petition. This is one of the only programs aimed at a worthwhile, growing, moneymaking, pasttime. Many are in the quilting 'industry' and use Simply Quilts daily to keep up on going trends and current/new methods. You would not believe the progress made in the quilting world over the past few years, and a lot of it has to do with being able to watch a professional teacher on a much loved daily program. Please reconsider plans to replace this favorite program. Nothing you replace it with will ever come close to the quality, variety, and personality of this show. It is loved by many and will be truly missed.

This show is mentioned daily in the quilt store where I work and is a way that many quilters get to see and learn new techniques that are not immediately available in their area. I learn new things each week and am reminded of old techniques I have forgotten.
It is a valuable resource and one HGTV should consider a treasure!

I support this petition. Simply Quilts is one of the truly unique shows on HGTV today. Many of the new shows seem to be cookie cutter home fixit shows. I becamed interested in quilting several years ago and Alex Anderson became my teacher. Change the time if you need, but please do not cancel it.
