Reruns are great if you're watching Lassie. Showing me a Quilting show in the year 2006 that was actually filmed in 1999, isn't doing me much good. Quilting is a progressive thing. You know...you learn something and you move on. Fabrics and fabric care change. New quilting tools and techniques are being developed all the time. "Simply Quilts" is an excellent resource to keep up with those things and Alex Anderson is doing a great job. Now, we'll actually have to go out and spend money to keep up with these changes! Hope that doesn't cut into out cable budget!

I am asking you to reconsider your decision to not have any more new Simply Quilts Shows and to only show reruns during 2006. What fits better with HGTV. Our quilts are all about Home -- quilts that decorate our beds and walls; Garden -- guests on SQ make some beautiful garden-themed quilts; and TV -- you have had one of the most loyal of TV audiences that other companies can only wish for. Please listen to your viewers. We want Simply Quilts and we want more new shows with Alex Anderson. Thanks for listening. Now please take the right action and order 26 more new programs from SQ.

Simply quilts is very important to the quilting community as a way to see teachers and designers that are normally not in my area. The show should be expanded not canceled!
For many people in rural areas this is their only exposure to the variety of teachers and ideas Simply Quilts is known for. Please don't remove this show.

Over the last several years I have learned more about quilting by watching Simply Quilts than with any class I have taken. Quilting and sewing are basic skills for the "home" in Home and Garden. By concentrating only on decorating and gardens, important sewing skill are going to be lost.

Retailers such as myself depend upon the stimulation she provides for quilters and crafters to keep the industry stimulated. There is not another show like it, and not everyone can get the DYI network.
