Many of the Sims fans have been waiting for the Sims 3 for months . The release date was just around the corner . But now the release date has been changed from Feb 20 , 2009 to June 2 , 2009 . Personally i love the Sims games and appreciate the crew who make the game but to push the game back 4 months for advertisements is just selfish .

“The June launch combined with the break-through game the team is building gives us the perfect runway to create awareness for The Sims 3,” said Russell Arons, Vice President of Marketing for EA. “The Sims 3 will be the original IP summer blockbuster of 2009 as we build off the success of the best-selling PC franchise of all time to create awareness with both loyal Sims fans and new players.”

I understand business but i don't understand why would you disappoint fans .

I think that's just stupid, the only reason they pushed TS3 forward was for publicity!!!! THEY HAVE SOLD OVER A MILLION FLIPPING COPIES OF THE OTHER VERSIONS, IF THEY LIKED IT THEY WILL BUY IT!!!!!! I HAD A CHANCE OF GETTING THE GAME FOR MY BIRTHDAY, NOW I EITHER HAVE TO SAVE UP OF WAIT TIL BLOODY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!! GAH!!!!!

I support this petition greatly, and am mad that the creators did not advertise earlier. If they felt the need to advertise, they should have when they could, however if they say there are problems with the game and not just the whole "we want more money," then I will stop signing petitions and shut up about it.
