I think it\'s time for someone who is not a skater to say something, as I already said I\'m no skater, but to ban it is ridiculous, if you want to be technical, that skaters damage public property?, then fine. But so you know, more risks are imposed on people who are not in any form of transportation, being pick-pocketed or mugged in cities is more common for someone walking and there is a lot more criminals than skaters. Sometime skaters get out of hand for choosing to do stunts near people. But nonetheless real worry is not on property, it\'s on the skaters themselves, same as surfers, people tend to not like the attitude of the stereo-typical surfer, but legally they do nothing, so there is not a thing you can do about it, but as for skaters just because there is an actual way to limit/restrict them, you choose to, there are some clicks that others may find a nuisance, but you can\'t oppress them because of your feelings, I think the whole skater ban is more fixed on prejudice toward them, than actual legal prospects, if you don\'t know how to translate that to your simple mind, I don\'t support your petition, just so you know, and again I don\'t skate, I speak on equity not relation or bias. It seems more discriminatory than actual political matter, I would love to hear all the statistics on skateboarding in public places and then state what worries you about them. Until then STFU until you have a reason to petition a real matter not people who ride around on boards that you find annoying.

i'm doing a scholl essay on it for my IGCSE im 14 and skating is the world to me i only wish that you skate hating F****** F***** would see the same you have never skated and you should F****** get a life who ever made this ( this is my speech for my IGSCE corse work ) Skate boarding is not a crime! Do you want people to do drugs? Do you want friends to get in trouble with the law? Well I don’t think anyone does but that is what will happen if you ban skating. Every one is about being green and environmentally friendly, well skating doesn’t give off carbon emissions. People all around the world are united with skateboarding, I know that personally I have made friends I would not normal meet and they are all good people; all this “skaters and druggies and smokers, drinkers and evil people” is rubbish. I am a skater and have never done any of the things that people say. There are people in the world that live life high on skating, would you rather take that away and get them high on drugs? Which sport is more dangerous? Basketball, Baseball, Soccer or Skateboarding. These are the stats for injures from Basketball -223.5 Baseballs - 115.7 Soccer - 62.0 Skateboarding - 20.2. Pro skateboarders are most often hurt when they hit rocks or bumps on the riding surface, or when trying difficult or new stunts. What does this mean for a town that is thinking of putting up a skate park? Well it is a safer sport and is safest when done on purpose built parks. So basically you can take away form this that skateboarding does a lot of good for a lot of people and that you banning it is like banning rugby or AFL so think next time you see a skater going down the street and you shout “ Get off that boarding you rascal “ that them on a skateboard keeps them of a drug board!

I'm a 13 year old boy that skates. im not good at it, but it's something to do in spare time or when im feeling down, or just when i wanna have fun! i hear ppl talking about how all sk8rs smoke and get arrested all the time or some stupid S**T like that, but thats not true about all of us. i've never smoked and never will. i drink some but thats only when i ask my mom for a drink from her beer(alot of times she says no), ive never been arrested. and i only have 2 peircings, 1 in both ears which doesnt mean im gay or bi it still means im staight. and theres some sk8rs that ive read bulletins that were hating on football and stuff, well i like football too, and i like softball cause of my gf, she plays it and i like to watch her play it. anywayz quit f**ckin hatin on skateboarding!!! any zoo york fans>? i am ZOO YORK IS DA BOMB!!!
